pvr said:I have tried to set the timed period after 2230 to 10 degrees, I would have thought that if it stays above there that it "should" not move.
As I am not home, I can't ask the others if that helped or not.

But at £119 the hive was hard to beat, Tado is a lot more with the water add on.
cj10jeeper said:I've heard lots of problems with Tado (on a jag forum) doesn't switch in and off at all well.
I think it also depends on lifestyle. Either myself, wife or daughter between us are often home based.
Hive is getting better but still a simple system, however backed by BG they sort any issue really quick
pvr said:Just as an update, I am liking the system. The radiator at the far end of the house that never worked (daughter's bedroom), now fully works and as she is the first one to get up in the morning, it works fine just heating the bathrooms and her room only at 5, the rest kicks in at 7. No more overheated lounge during the day, nor the dining room or any other room not used downstairs.
The setting overnight at 8c solved the night time noises - the open window must have caused a draft just on the sensor so that is now no longer kicking in.
Remote access to the system has been great as well, as when I was away, I could change the room temperature remotely.
No idea about savings - if any, but from a comfort point it works out so far just fine.
pvr said:Your fault I got it
Next the hot water kit as that is still boxed ...
