Monkey mans power adder

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the (lack of) o-ring or the snap ring for the compressor housing

Yep agreed. I have a full rebuild kit for the turbo. So i will be stripping and cleaning everything. Rebuilding it with new seals. I might even have to change the bearings. But that depends on how they look. I am a little concerned as the oil system hasn’t been working right.

Interesting fender styling. Especially on a build like this.
Is it just the rears?

This kit just has the rears. I have a set of Nissan s15 front fenders on order. They will need extensive modifcation but should look really good when done.

Hear they are being fitted to an e36

The look i am going for.

That yellow one needs lowering. Looks like it's on stilts.

 Yeah i doubt mine will be like that. I want to use it on UK roads. I am potentially looking at an air ride set up. It’s been designed for track and road use not for the stanched look. It dose factory height -25 and -50mm

I think thats a fitting look for a car that has been modified to this extent not with bolt ons but with bespoke self made systems&upgrades

But having toured scotland& northern england roads for almost 2 weeks now Im pretty convinced theyre one of the worst in all of europe....my god,,,,
(The scenery was stunning though)

Just a thought!

If you were happy with the accuracy of the rear arches etc, I know a guy who could take a mould of boths sides and reproduce them in fibreglass.

Obviously its a business venture between both parties and there would need to be enough demand to cover the mould costs, but as I said.......................... just a thought!

Not wrong our roads are awful!!

And I agree I buddy it dose. It was always building my dream. I don’t want it to be someone else’s. It’s mine and it’s what I want. No one else has to like it. All I would really like is for people to try and just appreciate the work gone into it.

Yeah its an idea but to be honest. I dont want loads of cars looking like mine. And the kit is so cheap if i damage this kit i can just buy another anyway. Its already a fiberglas set. And i doubt anyone in the UK could make it as cheap as the guys in China.

Been mega busy working through problems. The standalone oil system has been junked. I will be finishing off the new system the weekend. I have a flap valve to go. So the car can breathe N/A until boost is greater than atmospheric pressure. The boost leaks have been found and i am in the process of fixing them all. The turbo has been stripped and cleaned and is going back on tomorrow. The waste gate spring has been changed too. I am waiting on so aluminium bends to finish off the new intake system. Hopefully up and running again with no problems soon. Then time to map it and see what it does???View attachment 3BELH7502[1].JPGView attachment 3

So, will it be at ZedFest Matt?

I would love it to be there.
But i just cat say. In theory if all goes well it will be there of sorts.
Not tuned
Still in lots of bits
And dirty!
And with some bad paint bits!!
But I haven’t checked the new oil system at all yet??

They'll definitely be useful in the supermarket carpark - no-one will be able to park close enough to stop you being able to open the doors

Always fancied a set of those rear over fenders. Love the idea of it being wider. That'll look good with rears and fronts done
