Of course, you'd definately need me there too to hold stuff in place and to assist with the beers.
you'd never get it done without me there too...

Yes please Mr Bad :)

In all seriousness I really want a long drive in Europe next year. And I have no problems with helping you fit your diff on the way. Your kind of a forum bestie and you made my logo avatar so I owe you anyways

Ah its sweet :) Bad

Ok not a lot to report lots of little steps. But they will all add up to my car being on the road again some time!
I managed to get the old RTAB bush out. My tool didn't work that well at getting it out! And i really didn't want to burn them out. So i used a hole saw to remove the center rubber part. I then cut through the bush metal outer with a hack saw. I was then able to use a punch and a harmer to collapse the outer part and knock it out. The tool i made helped install the bush so it was not a complete waste of time. Any new bush in with the limiting washers.

Then gave everything a clean and a paint.

As i had the paint tins and brushes out I painted the rear crash bar. And also my adjustable lower arms.

Also relocated the fuel breather box thing so the quad can go in.

I will put this side back together tonight but that's all. I have a few tips to make to send out. I hope to do the other side Wednesday. And then i am off to Cornwall to see some friends for a long weekend. Hopefully get the diff back in the following week. Then a stag do the weekend after with hopefully finishing the exhaust off and have the car working again by mid July. I need it done and finished as i am doing a quad for Si as soon as its done.

Small update I have been following Jimbos advice and sticking at it.

Had a long weekend away and i have a stag do this weekend all these fun things are getting in the way!!! But I have got the other RTAB and limiting kit done. Its all painted and ready to go back together. I had to bring the diff in to work to use a fly press to put the bearings on the LSD. I am coming to pick it all up tonight so its home and ready to install. I hope to build it all back up and fit the upper and lower control arms Friday (I will take a picture of my revised lower adjustable arms tonight) The exhaust bits are all made and just need final fetteling and fitting. The fuel breather box has been relocated and reconnected. I can see an end fingers crossed it all goes well.
