No chance withe all the bits i have brought a stag do and a long weekend away in Cornwall already this month. My monkey pockets are empty!!

I'll make you a deal. you get the car up there on friday, and I'll buy you a half pint of cheap lager.

Gah national meet! forgot about that.

We need a ~central England meet. Not that i wouldnt love to go driving around the dales/lakes/wherever, but it requires a weekend of commitment to get up there, rather than an impulse 1hour drive to get involved

MM definitely has to come to some sort of meet before the end of the season..

and there's always the great static meet at Mac2750's (or whatever Neil's username is!) excellent water mill!

I was hopping to try and do the static meet. There have been a few midlands meets where Lux and Liam have organized. I will come to them all if the bloody car is working!!

I think Gaydon BMW meet is on the same day as Mac has his. I was thinking about maybe trying to do both????

It will be the 19th Steve you can drink Coffee but Mrs Monkey tends to have better things to do when i am working on cars. She is doing a charity 10k on that day I think?

What last night i got the fuel breathe lines 100% sorted and i am really happy with how neat and tidy and the quality of the job

Cut the exhaust off where it was in the way.

And striped the back plate of cleaned and resealed it so i have no leaks. Its back in the cradle waiting to hopefully go in tonight.

No fail hear last night. Quite probable that i will fail again tonight!!

The progress is far from fantastic. Its mildly good at best!

But i need it off the stands and out the way by next weekend. Nothing like a dead line to motivate.

Side note - if you find a spare stubby - i'll swap it for a beer... The one i ordered is .. well, it doesnt fit properly, and is aluminium ?! On the plus side, i found where the squirrel had stashed the tip of my aerial.. in the boot gutter channel...

Ha ha bloody squirrels well urm i cant mate i had to put a tarp up over the car Tuesday to work on it as it peeing it down. It broke free during the night a pulled mine off! Looks like the bottom bit that fixes to the car is completely fooked as well.
