No these are genuine E46 alloys I have sold the replica E92 wheels. They get picked up tomorrow. They sold on eBay for the princely sum of £62

Ok so today the monkey has been a bloody fool!!

Installed my new M3 ARB and powerflex bushes and rear control arm bushes. Got the lowering springs on the front looking great

Went to do the same at the back!! Got it all striped down springs out then onto the ARB!! Started taking it off and broke a rear drop link!! So the car is out of action gonna weld it back together to get me to Goodwood Sunday can't get a replacement till Tuesday  if any one has one close to Oxford I have a kidney I don't use much in exchange?!?!??! Failing that I am going to try the local scrap yard tomorrow.

Also M3 rear ARBs don't fit the Z4 so didn't even need to do the work :headbang:

Aah no mate! That sucks! Hopefully you find something tomorrow.

Did you take any pics of the front? Good man for going ahead with the drop! It's gonna look sweet!

No picks just yet I will wait for it all to done. I hope it doesn't rub to much!!!

Wort case scenario I will have to make one tomorrow morning. It's a fairly way part made from horrible cheap cat aluminium. But fingers crossed a scrap yard has a temporary stand in!!

Yes Luke all done it looks amazing  going to Goodwood tomorrow so hopefully get some nice pictures. I haven't had chance to clean her though!!

I have lots and lots of arch rubbing at the back!!! Especially when I ad my 22st brother in the car!!

Right had a weekend of car modding and breaking things and my car finale trying to kill me!!

So go the car lowered fitted all new bushes to the front all went well. The rear didn't go to well. The new ARB and bushes from and ///M3 just dose not fit around the diff of a Z4. Obviously there are different diffs. I think i will keep the bar as maybe one day i will put a LSD from ///M into the car??? Obviously i broke the rear drop link and thanks to Marius i managed to get 2 new ones for £20.40 from euro car parts. So it was all fitted and working.

Had trouble getting the car off the ramps had to use scaffold boards and my jack no longer fits under the car :? No big problem. The main problem has been the huge amount of rubbing i got. The tyres only very slightly rub the metal lip in side the arch and the plastic liner.

Any way the car was working and i had to use it Sunday. As i was going to Goodwood and had to drop off some monster wheel spacers to Bradmarsh. I got up mega early Sunday to pop in to work and tap the threads in the spacers to Brad. On the way in i heard something bounce along underneath my car. It was worrying as i had just taken all the suspension apart!!!! i pulled in at a lay-by and all my wheel weights where missing on one side thinking maybe i had left a socket in there somewhere i drove on cautiously by the time i got to Oxford every time i used the brakes there was a horrendous grinding noise then a huge bang bang bang!! i had to pull in and call my brother he came out and we discovered that the bottom bolt that holds the caliper to the carrier had vanished and my caliper was trying to mate the inside of my wheel. No major damage done but the wheel will need a sand down and a paint again. Obviously there is no where to get the bolt on a Sunday. And its non standard so i didn't have any at work :( Luckily for me i can make such things and found an M16 bolt turned it down cut the thread and machined up the head to the right size and shape. earning man points from my bro doing so :D

So i made it to Goodwood but very late and all most every one had gone. Meet the outlaws and had a picnic then went to see Brad. He seemed very happy with the spacers and his bodywork guy rolled my arches for me  Really appreciated that so now there is no rubbing on metal but the plastic liner was broken and rubbing and now i had a lip where water could gather and root the arch  yesterday i got the heat gun out molded the liner and used thick sticky automotive silicon to seal everything up. Job done i washed the car and the wife's. And went for a hoon no rubbing all is well. I even saw another silver zed and got a very enthusiastic thumbs up  Not sure if they are members but they seem to love zeds as much as me!!!! Any way some pictures

Hope you like i love the last picture. The car is on a slop so it looks a bit lower than it actually is :D

Wow - anti-grav Z :o :D

Sorry to hear of your woes MM, but at least you have the skills to get it all fixed - I'd have been on a low-loader and Zedless
