Spotlight on Jenson now, hope he grabs this opportunity to show what he can really do.

Shoot me down - but I have always had the impression that jenson is happy with just the one championship trophy on his mantelpiece.
Or maybe he is just more laid back than the likes of Alonso, vettel and hamilton?

Schumi back to the old peoples home where he should've stayed 3 years ago.

Anyone remember the TAG McLaren 1.5 litre turbos of the 80s? 1000 BHP in qualy trim if memory serves me?

When Hamilton stormed on to the F1 scene, he captivated me in those first two seasons, then with the sacking of his father as manager, we have witnessed his ego and petulance rise, he remains a very talented driver and yes sometimes life has been unduly harsh, but tbh I think most of his bad luck has been self inflicted.
I bet the fuel consumption figures are eye watering Andy lol......imagine though if Porsche and BMW re entered F1 as engine suppliers....and Honda too they all have experience of 1.5 turbos......sigh......probably just an old school boys dream sadlyandicole0 said:slick said:andicole0 said:The only thing I can see in Mercedes favour is that they will be one of the few prime engine manufacturers going into the new turbo years from 2014. Oh yes, made by Porsche who just love seeing Mercedes do well. I wonder how many miles they did to the gallon?

AFAIK Webber's already confirmed for Red Bull again next year? I suspect there's a seat going at Ferrari but not sure being a no.2 to Alonso would be a good move...sp3ctre said:a11y said:And still hoping Di Resta gets a decent drive next season - that McLaren seat might've been good for him...
Yeah, I do rare Di Resta... wonder if he's be a good fit for replacing Webber?
Very possibly right, but he needs a chance at a better car to make or break it. I rank Coulthard as on par with Button: both bloody good drivers, the difference being Button got a good bit of luck to get him a championship.ranski said:I think Di Resta will be another Coulthard - A good driver, but not quite got what it takes when compared to the competition around him
