I hope hes wrong....... as much as I like Button , I feel Hamilton is the quicker driver ( ruthless) . McLaren couldnt afford Hakkinnen so how can they afford him now ?
Its probably just the start to the silly season

What's wrong with that... bit more enthusiasm, professionalism and character IMO... Hamilton seems to have lost focus these last few years, a bit like Rooney in Football.

+1

Daft as it sounds, I think it could be a good thing for all concerned. Lewis has only ever been at McLaren since he was old enough to charm Ron Dennis, and the team under Whitmarsh is obviously very different. The last two seasons he's struggled to demonstrate the form of his early career and if he stays at McLaren I can't see him winning the WC in the next couple of years. I think he needs to change to re-invigorate his career. Sadly I think the biggest change that would help him would be ditching his celeb-obsessed management team though, and not his racing team.
McLaren have been perfecting how to throw away race wins and championships for decades now, and on the early season form of their car this year they should've been leading the title and not Alonso.

I think Paul di resta is a future star. He seems so composed and professional, would be really interesting to see him at mcclaren.

Hamilton generally bugs me. He seems to have the same arrogance/chip on his shoulder as a premiership footballer.

Agreed,its always someone elses "fault"....

Di Resta is quick and hungry, with the right car under him i think he could be WC...

FWIW i dont think Hamilton has it in him to be world champion..

I'd like to see Hulkenburg and Button at Mclaren next season.I'd also like to see every race live on BBC .

Whilst I think Hamilton's driving has a Senna (ish) characteristic to it, his behaviour off track leaves a lot to be desired (to put it kindly).

A move around would be good. Di Resta in a Mclaren would be great :)

Same engine, worse team! Bad move for him. Perhaps they'll stick Kobyashi in the seat just to whip gigs up a bit lol!

I'd love to put all the Marrusia, Hispania and Caterham drivers in the good cars and all the Buttons, Hamiltons, Vettels, Alonsos etc in the s**t cars just for one race to see what happens :P

I don't really care if he leaves McLaren. But I don't want him to join Mecedes GP either. I like Michael and Nico to stay. Schmey can't retire again yet.

Both Ross Brawn and Mercedes boss said they will keep Schumacher as long as he wants to keep racing.

+1 on all of that. Not sure I'm that keen on the new "bling" Hamilton, hanging with rappers etc.

I wouldn trust Ross Brawn as far as i could throw him, and he is one fat ****

Mercedes like any other team want winning drivers, not a 40+ whose light has gone out
