Leaked pictures of production Z4

Cant say that the pictures do anything for me, from the side it could be a Merc. I will need to see one in the flesh to decide if it looks good or not.
Some of these pictures are bad renders or from funny angles and do not show what it will really look like.

Wasn't the new Z4 at Goodwood FoS. My wife and I were shown pictures by our local dealer; we are waiting to see one in the metal. The return to a ragtop is a bonus, the metal roof, whilst great in inclement weather, takes up a lot of boot space.

Apparently that was an early design model - FOS pics plus comments https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=107685&p=1563706#p1563706

I think it might be worthwhile sitting on it for the new supra. As much as im a keen z4 advocate. I must admit the supra seems to trump the new z in terms of design

I'm liking the look of it seeing the one in Blue. Looking forward to seeing one in the flesh and seeing how many of the English pounds they are asking for one :driving:

Yup, blue one looks much better, though not enough to make me blow more savings

Have to agree. Nothing special

I think what we’re basically saying is that in red, it looks like other red cars.

Why do the pics posted by the OP show a car with BMW badges but text saying "Supra Mk 5"? I though the convertible is going to be BMW whilst the hatchback will be Toyota?

As has been noted in previous threads, why oh why do the car manufacturers come up with georgeous concept cars and then deliver something that is rather run of the mill?

My Zed is secure in its current home! :)

Some clever chap from Bimmerpost photoshopped the leaked pics, gave it a perspective correction and overlaid it to a photographic back ground, I like the rear end, looks like a modern day Z8!

The wheelbase looks a bit short when seen from side on...

Not a fan...and what’s more worrying is that’s the suped up top of the range version. God knows how dull the lower end ones will look.

The new MX5 looks better to me...

They’ve obviously seen my grilles with the, as some called it, chicken wire and basically copied me!

That ‘new’ picture of the front end is fucking ugly. Like Susan Boyle smashed in the face with a shovel ugly. I really, really hope it doesn’t look like that. Sorry.

Too much Japanese influence in the styling - more Honda Civic Type R than BMW unfortunately.

Just noticed the clamshell bonnet. That is pretty cool.
Does the E89 not have this already?

I dunno, does it? You tell me. :D
The E89 has a bonnet that looks very like that one that curves over he top of the wings.
I thought a clam shell bonnet was one that the full front end opened with lights, bumper etc attached
