Yeah, Mardave stock as a kid, sand scorcher beetle thing, then progressed onto planes and helis. I've a garage full of big boys toys but couldn't resist adding another.

The Sand Scorcher is going back a bit! I started off with a wimpy little Grasshopper, which i converted into a Hornet (oil dampers and a 540 motor(wooo! ), then onto a 4wd Super Sabre which i customised with ballraces and upgraded shockers and a Reedy motor and from there, when i got interested in competition stuff I went for the Kyosho Mid Optima which i modded to hell.I always wanted a Schumacher Cat but then i began playing in bands and spent all my money on guitars. Great days. 8)

My local dealer in Richmond, B.C. lends out 3 series loaners with those stripes on. Not quite the exact same patterns, but roughtly the same idea. When I drive their loaner car I always feel really embarassed because of the stripes.
