Another 35is bought...

OP, are you going for the record for the number of Z4s owned at once by any chance?

Mineral Grey does look great, but as you say it would have looked even better with red leather - maybe that's next?

Not all M sport seats are electric Nige, on the 35is they’re standard but you had to spec them for all other models. If they were specced then both seats were included.

I've found some in a 35is both heated but only drivers electric and memory, passenger one manual but heated, wondering if it's still the same wiring underneath

I had coral red interior with mineral white paintwork on my 35is and whilst the red looked good I found I was forever cleaning the top side of the seats where the seat belts had rubbed and left black marks. Put me off having red again so I opted for a black interior with DSB on my latest E89 and I have to say I am really pleased with it. Gloss black grills have helped.

I know I've said it before, but DSB with black interior is my all-time favourite colour combo. Well done

I love my 2016 35is.

It just a modern day classic already and its curves are just gorgeous and fresh.

It also has the 250 kW version of the N54 engine. The most powerful version of the N54 is found in the E82 1 Series M Coupe (which are so sort after) and the E89 Z4 sDrive 35is. This is an overbuilt blue print engine that was originally BMW's first venture into turbo charging straight sixes and for this they over built these to ensure no mechanical failures. Tuners say these are good for over 700hp with no issues.

For the price point, definitely a keeper.

Did I miss the bit when you got rid of the Porsche?

Almost a year ago now Ronk.... :poke:

I missed that !
That’s why you wanted my old jallopy?
It looks like similar spec - certainly the same colour and interior.

Mine has 8.7k on the clock now and is due an mot in September after the Germany & Italy trip in August - The dealers I use keep banging on about a look at new car but I would have to shell out another wedge while loosing a shed load on my current car that still feels like new. I’m sure if or when I do buckle it’ll be a good buy for somebody - probably somebody on here!
