I have to say that it does absolutely immaculate inside and out for sure.oke:
It's not immaculate, but won't take too much to get it back to that. I'm wire-wooling the inside of the exhaust tips ATM to try and get the burnt-on crud out. I'll start cleaning the leather next. :|
Nearly hit something in Halfrauds' car park earlier as I didn't realise it doesn't have front PDC (only rear). :headbang:

I've been at it half the day with the wire wool. Didn't work, as the two 'main' exhausts have got 'heat tarnished' so have changed their colour internally. Back to plan A, painting all four internally with matt black stove paint.pvr said:Oh, and for the exhaust use the drill with 0 wire wool attachment. Works a treat with no effort
Are they still in good enough condition to keep the tip edges chrome? Or are you going all black?Pondrew said:I've been at it half the day with the wire wool. Yes I've polished up the outers and the lips, they are OK; it's the insides that are the problem, two are one colour and two are another (I think I may have a bit of OCD)LeeZ4MR said:Are they still in good enough condition to keep the tip edges chrome? Or are you going all black?
Don't be-little your wood, Ian. Your wood is as good as the next man'sMr Tidy said:That's quality wood.
It certainly looks better than what I have in my E90.

Thanks Ian. I will give a go. My Idrive is the very first incarnation, I think. It's amazing how the tech moves on so quickly. This is the first car I've had for about 15 years with a manual handbrakeMr Tidy said:Anyway onto the instrument lights brightness. You need to have the lights on, then press the button on the end of the indicator stalk to get into the OBC settings then scroll through with the "up/down" rocker on the stalk until you get to the right display and adjust using the button.
But as you have i-drive it may be tucked away somewhere else.
