Jealous idiots rant

I have a desk calendar at work, I get the, paying you too much and hairdresser comments.

I suggest that's its not my fault I have something to show for my hard work.

I find doing quite the opposite is a very effective tool, rather than being shy and sheepish about the car I just act like a outlandish flash twat. Walk out of the local supermarket, pop the hood with the key and drive out of the space giving a little blip of the throttle whilst wearing a SnapBack and some big sunglasses. I get 'flash prick' occasionally, but so what? That's like saying 'hey, you look like you're doing well for yourself and I resent that'

You sir... are a legend.

You also get the nice comments to sometimes which helps been sat at the lights and hear people mostly blokes say thats nice they think you cant hear but it gives you a warm feeling, the people I work with take the piss call my cars [Mercedes old mans Merc,Black 3series drug dealer car, blue 123d coupe with carbon fibre bits the pimp mobil Z4 they call me Brad Pitt]F--k knows what they will call me when I turn up in my new Black35i but I just laugh it of being nearly 60yrs old its nice to have a bit of attention and they only do it for a bit of fun. 8)

The way I look at it, if these idiots are trying to upset me, then they are leaving someone else alone....

It's all good.....but I do wonder what they expect you to do... should you suddenly agree with them and sell the car, buy one like theirs (a no doubt "limited" corsa), start crying....

I did ask someone on Saturday what his point was when he called be a "flash c**t".... he just looked at me.... he hadn't thought of another "witty" remark...1 an hour I would guess is the limit for that knuckle dragger....

His "monster" stickers were awesome though, I'm getting them... must be good for at least 300bhp extra.....

Thinking back, I've had more comments when getting back into my car in car parks or at lights of "I'm envious" or "Nice wheels" than being called a flash twat!

Must be because I have the Coupe :fuelfire:

Vanilla post piccies of your car and we'll all shower you with lovingly affectionate compliments!!

We all love a good Z4 and as far as I'm concerned you're smarter, better informed and have a superior sense of style than 98% of the rest of the population  :driving:

some guy recently tried to insult me on another forum:

is that the best you can do? someones been down the pub too long.

at least i'm not driving some pimped up shopping trolley

never heard from him again. his car of choice is a vauxhall astra

Hmm - surprised by the hairdresser jibe from folk - the Zed is a lot more of a focussed sports car than many others and therefore a considered choice. I had an MX5 for 5 years and expected comments - very few even though I always had the roof down.

Vanilla - one thing to keep in mind and say to yourself when faced with people like this in any situation....

"Tells you more about them than it does about you"

certainly helps me cope with challenging folk - they are damaged (arn't we all!) and they'll be a reason behind their callousness.

Stay positive and enjoy what has been a deliberate choice by you of a brilliantly looking and handling car - great choice! :driving:

I bought it to get the comments, love it, that's why I went for yellow :)

I actually love you a little bit. :)

You get the best kick if you drive through a built up area and put the roof down while on the move. The only thing I don't do is turn up the sound system around town because I'm a poser not a chav.

X 2. I don't give a monkeys but I'll defend my colour choice to the last.

Told this before but was standing at a cash point and zed was parked just behind me. A lady was looking around it. She looked up and saw me watching her and said, 'what a lovely car but if you are going to buy a BMW why would you choose that colour?'

I get the hairdresser comment from people all the time, doesn't bother me in the slightest to be honest - i don't know a single person with a car I'd rather have (hence why I bought the Z). A tiny flex of my toe onto the accelerator does all the talking it needs.

Failing that, you could always throw your faeces at them or throw them into a pond.

This is actually a lot easier with the roof down. Yet another advantage of a roadster.

Food for thought, I actually don't know any hairdressers around our way with any type of roadster. Mine has an A3 convertible and the guy who owns the place a Honda Type R. The place my wife goes he has an M5.

My hairdresser drives a Mazda RX8 and has big tits.
