Mine arrived today so will go through this again tomorrow!
I'll pop by Maplins first thing to get a cable but where do I start!?

Auto unlock (car already auto locks at 10mph)
Nav zoom feature
3 x passing indicator
Any others that are pretty cool?
One question I did have... Is it possible to have a setting to have the sport mode set as 'on' when the car is first started?
I'll be having a good go over 3.7 in the user guide I think!!
I also read somewhere that to enable the iPod to wake automatically from deep sleep a wire is need to be souldered into the alpine unit. Is this the case?

You'll need a 1 or 1.5 mm drill to break the track at the via, no need to drill right through. Using fine, 30 AWG, solid core Kynar wire will make the job much easier, you can buy it on e-bay usually called 'modding wire'.
This is the section of the board, it's on the left side with the iPod socket at the top.
With this mod the KCA-420i will be able to charge an iPod even if it's battery is totally flat and it will wake up any iPod.

This version of the mod simply replaces the main KCA-420i CPU control for charging with a fixed line that enables charging whenever the KCA-420i is powered up, this means that the KCA-420i will now charge a totally flat iPod."

I just did this too... 5 minute job! Not particularly great soldering skills either. Had no drill bit small enough at 1-1.5mm so simply broke the track with a fine knife 
plugged it in and works a charm so far!
Have an hour or so before going home so will see if it auto wakes :|

Hm, i managed to download and unzip it fine - i'm not sure what this offers over mine though, could do with a lenghtly changelog to see the differences.
My intraveeII is running v6.00 build 1128 - any ideas the main feature additions are over this version?
The only thing i find generally in the car (satnav/menu/phone too) is it feels like the scroll direction on the scroll wheel is the wrong way round. I found an option in the intravee setup for "search setup" to change to anti-clockwise but seems to make no difference.

The scrolling bugs me too.
I changed it to the other way in the settings... Which is great for within the intravee menu/ navigation. however back in the normal nav/ telephone menu it will be the other way around which confuses passengers!

Finally got it working. Not sure what was up with it. Probably something i was doing!
Got it all plumbed in lastnight, Apline unit woke up the ipod this morning after doing the wake up mod which was good to see!!
Had a play this afternoon during lunch and got
AE as DRLs (Got package at the post office which i hope is my AEs, so I set this in excitement!)
3 flash on passing
Lights on whilst lock / unlock

Will have a good play with it later on this evening but so far... Best £150 spent on the car!
