Sorry, stupid question but... I assume that when you update the firmware it preserves all of the previous settings, yes ? Only ever done it once before sorting everything to my taste 
Oh, and everyone seems to set the indicators to 3 blinks... I found (strangely) that the indicator didn't stay on long enough when manoeuvring so set it to 4.

I've updated mine atleast 3 times over the years and setup the shortcuts when i first got it

My car actually has 3 blinks from the factory!
Didnt bother changing that!

One thing i did wonder - why is the minimum time 10s for lock/unlock?
I've set mine up so indicators + brakes come on for lock, and 'white' lights come on for unlock (AE + reverse)
tempted to add dipped beam tho, as a more follow-me-home style that might actualyl light up my way, rather than AE's that are barely visible 
What sort of range do people get on their key remote? i seem to find mine is quite short (within a car length of the car), not sure if that's just the battery though?

Installed this one now, but have an odd problem.
The blink count - set to 4. Works great for about 3 miles and then it just reverts back to a single blink. Stopped after my trip at home, went through the settings again and it is still set at 4.
Once I had checked it, it worked again (in the garage).
Anyone else had this?
