Real happy for you R1andy, but the dealer should have made you aware of the damage right at the start i think. Now it`s time to enjoy your zed, it really is a good looker. :thumbsup:
 
Paintwork is 36mths, but anti-corrosion warranty is 12 yrs. Both from original registration date of vehicle.

I think if you ask the dealer when picking up a new car if its been damaged and repaired they are obliged to tell you.

I'm begining to think my front bumper has been repaired as well :o

Fits badly and there is a paint run.

Good to hear the dealer admitting guilt over the issue, and being open and honest about it.
Still poor form by them for handing the car over in that condition, but i wouldnt allow it to put me off using them again.

Carol, finally you have redress with the dealer for it being painted the wrong colour.......phew!!! It must have fallen into a big tin of mustard on the boat!!!
 
I would take it back to the dealers and speak to the sales manager. Ask that they take the ar back, proide you with a like for like loan car and put the car right to factory perfect. I would also ask for a tank of fuel and the 5 year service pack as a good will gesture for spoiling you new car purchase. This is more than fair and I would expect the dealer to agree.
 
Sound like a good result all round.

If this fecking rain goes off, you might be able to get out and have a proper roof down drive.... or just do it regardless of the rain :lol:

They should tell you, something like this you will notice at some time.
