After getting an astronomical estimate to dip some part on my engine bay , and stressing about posting car parts around the country more than the price.
I decided to have a go myself. After a couple of weeks practice. I felt it was time to start on the car .
This is ( ace of skulls film ) over burnt orange with 4 coats of matt clear coat …. I’ll be doing some parts for some of the Essex zeds hopefully at some point, if anyone else is interested, please let me know ( mods , please delete if not allowed)
Here are some pictures of how it turned out 4D5B38FC-5C3A-4498-A01B-6F2CBE6E4694.pngBAD6005C-7023-41EE-8BF7-7F0297FB44E5.pngE99104C0-0F06-4DFE-903D-C1E872A16B2F.pngE56A12B8-EEDD-4812-B5AB-D45A665D414F.pngC9E6AFDF-8B60-4163-8C20-2903E323B4E9.png

Wow! That is impressive and you have saved yourself a fortune. Congratulations!

Looks really well done.
Years ago I struggled to find anywhere that would do it. Most businesses don't seem to last long and close up.
The interior trim i eventually had done had to be redone a few times before I was happy with it. Someone on the forum now has these fitted to their car.

Can I ask you for a bit more information on what was wrong with the parts ,that made you want them doing again please ? Just interested to know what went wrong? Did they charge you extra for the re dipping? Thanks
