To be honest I'm starting to get a bit sick of the one-upmanship going on around Covid, particularly on this forum. It seems like on a weekly basis we get yet another Covid topic just designed to wind people up (e.g. this topic title). I am sorely tempted to ban Covid topics at this rate... I have never banned a topic since this forum has been around (2007!), but this may be the first time.

Do it please. For sake of the majority of the forum users, who are capable of making decisions without being influenced by the vocal minority :D

While the heart concern is being discussed look at the number of athletes that have had heart related "events" recently.

278% global increase in footballers having heart attacks in 2021. Interesting.
https://dailyexpose.uk/2021/12/08/278-percent-increase-in-heart-attack-deaths-among-soccer-players/

I was watching a livestream of the global lockdown/vaccine mandate protests today and winessed 100's of NHS scrubs being thrown over the barriers and landing on the hapless cops standing between the protesters and Downing St.
https://awakening.marbell.com/2022/...mandate-at-the-police-outside-downing-street/

At the end of the “daily expose” article it goes on to say they are censured. Why do you think that is? :?

It actually says
The Exposé is now censored by
Google, Facebook, Twitter & PayPal

I would suggest this is due in part to The Expose being historically critical of those particular organisations.

Several of the bike forums I’m on banned covid topics early on. Did make them a better place to visit imo.

Yes,I agree...it would make this place less hostile,as the various covid threads all end up in abuse/aggro.

I would agree that some forum members do go on about Covid but it is nice to find out how others feel about this and other subjects. And it would be a shame not to be able to hear what they have to say as this forum has a mix of ages and genders and is a microcosm of the country in general. It’s usually ‘mostly’ sensible and polite chat and If I I don’t want to read something, I don’t. I would miss it as sometimes it makes me laugh

Tbh,I think most people have had enough of the covid threads on here,as btz461 says above
And we all know enough about how people think about everything related to it,etc and we don't need to keep hearing it

TBH, I think most people who have had enough of the covid threads on here actively choose not to read them. I would therefore politely and respectfully suggest that you have the absolute freedom of choice to do the same.

Then dont read it. Why are you coming into a thread you dont want to see to comment about the fact you dont want to see it and replying to people within it?

Oh surprise, surprise....I make a comment on a covid thread and you can't help yourself comment

Too many covid threads on here, as several others have pointed out too.
Time to knock it on the head......and for life and discussions to move on from all things Covid.

Regardless anyones views on it,or how its affected us all in different ways,or not affected some at all ,as in they have not had any symptoms,or lost friends or loved ones to it ,
I think alot of people are getting fed up with all things Covid.

Time we had something pleasant to be the topic of conversation.

Craig came solely to bitch and moan and cause problems, I offered him an alternative to save his poor little feelings from having to suffer these horrible topics he hates so much and that hurt his feelings so much. Not quite the same. :idunno:

As the OP, I’m declaring this thread closed.

Predictably, it descended into a slanging match between some of our esteemed members but I hope everyone watched and understood Dr John’s informative video, which was the original intent.

Before you close down this thread _ look him up on linkedin - I dont think he is even a mediacal doctor although he was an A&E staff nurse for 5 years.
He is just another Youtuber with an opinion - probably one of the 12 antivaxxers that produve 75% of social media anti vax propoganda.

Mind you he may produce a Z4 troubleshooting and maintenance guide on Youtube - And I would still ignore him.

Funny how doctors and frontline nurses are happy to get the Hep B jab as a condition of employment but not the Covid on principle?

Health trusts have a legal duty of care to their patients. Failure to vaccinate their staff would leave them open to prosecution.
