How about an 330d wagon and an MX5. You'll be happy enough and practicle all week long and on family trips. Then there will be somthing cheap fun and that the GF can enjoy as well, tucked in the garrage, but not costing a small fortune in Tax, insurance etc.

Its doing my head in Bing. I have two lists. One featuring fast saloons and the other [bigger] list featuring 2 seater coupes including MCs. It's my own fault I know, and the new owner who I'm sure will introduce himself soon (and is very excited), will love the car. I can't at this moment, honestly say I wont be putting up a wanted thread next week though.

Always liked Midnight Blue, Titanium Silver and Imola as an MC

Buy an E46 330d Touring and a bike engined Westfield. Trust me, you will be a very happy$

330 touring and Westfield a good call. Just been looking at 6 series convertibles too. No hardtop storage issues when roof down.
