really makes no difference how you code it to me as long as it's coded ok and everything works. Im sure we will all learn what does what pretty easily

Well I could modify the code so the second and third presses have to occur ten seconds after the first press but what's the point in doing that, you may as well put the key into the lock and hold it to raise thee roof.
So I suggest the sequence of key presses to raise the roof should be two presses of the unlock followed by 1 press of the lock button each 1 second apart. Obviously I'll have to change the code but I think it's a good solution.
All other suggestions are welcome.

Sounds like a good solution to me! 8)

So the posible issue is deactivating the alarm tilt and interior motion sensor when you press the remote three times to lower the hood?gapTech said:Hi guys.
I'm looking into the double click and the alarm issue now, I don't think my Z4 has it.
Does anyone know if there's any feedback that lets yo know when you've disabled the tilt?
Also, is there a time window in which you have to have pressed the second click for it to count?
AAAH! Raising the roof is the issue!! Should have read the whole thread before replying!!tdz840 said:So the posible issue is deactivating the alarm tilt and interior motion sensor when you press the remote three times to lower the hood?gapTech said:Hi guys.

When the hood is lowered do you require the interior motion sensor taking into account a big hole now exists in the interior? Granted the tilt is disabled but the main issue is some plonker opening the doors and trying to gain access.
If you dont want to lower the hood; one click to open and close the car should enable/disable the alarm and allow/stop entry?
So possibly we are looking just the tilt disable as an issue?
Any thoughts?

Also connect it to the rain sensor so if the car is parked, (no keys in) and it starts raining, the roof goes up....![]()

Not sure how you manage to sit on your keys though![]()
Maybe that came out wrong! I always keep my keys in my pocket and sometimes when I go out to my car the boot is unlocked. Must be where my keys get trapped between my jeans and my legoli445 said:+1pvr said:I vote for a single long press.
My only concern if it was 1 long press to open is if I sat on my keys and the roof went down at home without me knowing but roof going up no probs!
