Everyone here went to bed hours ago. So it's just me, the cat and a half decent malt.

Got me thinking about the best band ever in my opinion.

The Who

No one else comes close, sure others had better tunes, better musicians, were more influential etc etc. But for me no other band has the energy, emotion and sheer power of The Who.

Been with me since 1970 and hopefully for a while longer too

Care to add yours?, no right or wrong answers, no my lot are better than yours. Just simply, your best band ever?..

Slightly more upto date, "Never he Bride". Ok. it's a biker thing but Nikki Lamborn has to be one of the best and most underrated girly vocalists on the planet. If she was pretty, she'd have made milions by now - such are the vanities of the music industry

For me it's YES - my teenage influence and lifelong favourites - as a musician they just constantly amaze me ( except for that 80's madness with the Trevor Horn mad man)
