Fuel..how high will it go?

Some cheeky bastard local garage had 1.99 for diesel last week after the nearby supermarket ran out :fuelfire:

Hope people remember and boycott them in future

Now they have established that people can and will pay these prices they won’t be overly keen to lower them.

The Tax take improves for the treasury as well.

And with the eco terrorist blockade on the refineries planned for April 9 the queues will be back with even higher prices.

the odd sign of it dropping filtering though ..the station closest to me was 1.90.9 for diesel 2 weeks ago..showing 176.9 today

I’ve just paid £1,96.9 for vpower diesel , wonder if cooking oil will work in a modern diesel :headbang:
The pouring fuel on fire emoji she be removed , I’m now beginning to find it bloody offensive, such a waste of fuel he’s using !!!!!! :x

Brent Crude is now at the same rate as before the invasion of Ukraine, yet fuel prices remain significantly higher. I also believe that BP are among the worst for profiteering, so much for looking after your own countrymen :poke:

For the first time ever I am using an app and buying the cheapest I can find, after using only my local Shell for the last 17 years seeing them as the most expensive station in the area now is bloody galling

Well it hasn't got any better. :o

My local Tesco put prices up another 3p a litre this week - I knew I should have filled up sooner. :headbang:

Put 45 litres, so almost 10 gallons, of Momentum in my 3 Series because with an N52 engine it prefers 98+ RON and it cost £80.52, so that's over £8 a gallon - ouch!

I'm glad I don't do many miles now.

I thought it looked as though it was coming down a little in price. I hope I’m correct as I have a car on my driveway that I have waited over 2 years to get and now feel guilty putting petrol in it to use. :headbang:

Omg this is the first car I’ve owned since the ‘70’s that I drive for the sake of driving. It’s truly heartbreaking to see it sitting on the drive asking me to take it for Walkies.

The UK Govt dropped 3p a litre off the price then the price goes up as does the tax take!
(Window dressing?)
Friends in Germany tell me that in June the Fed Govt will drop the price by 30cents for three months and introduce a €9 public transport travel pass

That’s timed it nicely for my Holiday during August!

I haven’t read this whole thread…too many pages.

But anyway I have heard talk that some gas stations over here are updating their pumps to add an extra digit to the price per gallon reading. In other words, the pumps can currently show $9.99 per gallon where the change would allow them to show $10.00 and up.

You would think that this might only involve a firmware update since all the pumps are basically computer driven anymore.

NWO scumbags hard at work to bring on their “great reset”!

Just got back from a few days away on the bike. Had to fill up with premium unleaded on the autobahn in Germany: €2.61 per litre :? Thank god that twin only uses about 1 litre per 20km…

My local Morrisons, which was the cheapest in our area, has just gone up in the last couple of days from 1.64 to 1.68 per litre.

Think these suppliers are taking the p** in anticipation of a windfall tax including them in the near future.
