Front brake upgrade to 135i Brembo 6pot, possible?

Hi guys.
I have a set of gorgeous BMW Brembo calipers from the 135i (or offered by BMW to the 1 series and 3 series as 'Performance' callipers, painted Phoenix yellow)

Does anyone know if these can be fitted to the 3.0 front end?
I've seen a few post floating about, regarding the Z4M being possible but I can't find much about the 3.0.

These are the guys, currently on my E81 130i

Is this possible?

They do fit the E89 with no issue but I know there are a lot of differences between E85 and E89 front ends…

Yes they fit. I had them on my 3.0si but they fit on a 3.0 as well.

Here's a link to a thread I found back when I was working it out: https://zroadster.org/threads/my-sterling-grey-e85-with-updates.18513/

You need these (or similar) caliper adapters:

https://epytec.de/en/brake-system/adapters/2176/bmw-performance-brake-caliper-adapter-e46-front-axle

You will need m3 csl / z4m discs to go with them.

Discs are expensive as are pads but they're a decent upgrade, I found mine worked a treat on trackdays

Edit:

Here's a side by side of the pads (oe 3.0si vs performance caliper), and a key for scale - they're bloody huge!

Fantastic news.. I'd love to get my Performance calipers migrated over from the 130, before I sell it.

So to confirm.
Caliper adapters and any Z4 front disc and I'm good to go?

(I'll read that link in a while, that will probably answer)

No. Summary;

Caliper adapters
Z4M discs (non M discs and m3 non csl discs won't have the right diameter for the pcd of the pad swept area).

Yes, sorry, I meant to type Z4M disc in all the excitement of finding out I can use them on the Z.
Now to find some sensibly prices Z4M/CSL discs..

 no worries.

Unfortunately the z4m/CSL discs are quite expensive - it does mean they're not the MOST cost-effective bigbrake kit on the market, but the look great and work well so it's still a worthwhile upgrade.

Also worth noting you'll probably need new brake lines - worth getting something braided from Goodridge or similar at the same time
