The BMW logo is just a splash screen.
The vents are not pushed all the way in as one can see if they've ever taken the vents out. The vents would be snug against the bezel and there would be no gap. As far as a CAD, I really don't care about it all that much to be quite honest. I own 4 bimmers and have a lot of experience with these cars and it's just a bunch of metal, rubber, glass, and plastic to me...and a lot of german confused engineering. Actually this car is a lot less complex than my E60. This car probably gets about 5000 mi a year at most. It's good enough for my road trips, same pioneer unit as my wife's E46 and sure beats the stock system w/carver subs. We barely drive it so I can't bare thinking about putting in any more work on this car.
