Eventuri VAI Carbon Intake Kit for the Z4M details

Yeah looks fantastic, really good quality.

Sound as above was hard to distinguish as Budgie like myself has RPi backboxes.

Probably still going to pull the trigger on one myself though in a month or two!

I know it's all subjective, but to those of you who have experienced first hand the sound of both the GruppeM and the Eventuri, which has the most presence in your opinion?
I'm close to pulling the trigger on one of these, but it's a big purchase to make for someone who's yet to have seen or heard it before!

I have just ordered one of these kits - really looking forward to fitting it but not very impressed with the customer service.

I was told when I ordered on Monday that it would be shipped that day and I would receive it on Tuesday (today). There was no update so I chased them - they hadn't sent it out because they were busy, didn't think to update me though. When I phoned there was no hint of an apology either.

They then said they would send out the unit today and I asked three times for a tracking number - this never materialised. I then chased them again at ten past five. They said they hadn't put my email address on the delivery note so they would send me the tracking link "now" - I still have not received this.

All in all not a good experience at all. I hope the product is better than the service.

I hate that. One of my pet hates. I've literally just emailed them asking about delivery and ordering process, so I'll see what happens and report back too.

haha you are right I hope it does sound nice.

That would be great - would be good to let other members know how the service is and whether my experience is typical or not.

It sounds really really good. Order one - I don't think you'll be disappointed. I wasn't. It's rather addictive but I have a stock exhaust too so perhaps I hear more than those who've swapped their exhaust for an after-market alternative.

I literally haven't had chance to edit my in car videos yet but when I do I'll post them but it's hard to properly pick up the sound because the GoPro mic isn't fabulous.

It might be placebo but mine feels quicker and sharper on the throttle too.

Money value is subjective - for me yes, its worth it. its not THAT good, like.. life changing.. but it's a no questions improvement on the sound and as the driver you'll like it - non-driver/owners will prolly not care / notice :)

I'm at this stage of thinking too. The money is there but I'd just like to hear it first.

Hi Guys

Apologies for any delays in deliveries - we do try and get them out as soon as we can but sometimes we can miss the courier deadline and I'd rather not rush in putting a system together.

Due to demand we are currently out of stock however we expect to be able to commence deliveries early next week.

Would be good to get the two side by side sound wise. Anyone down Berkshire/Reading way with a Eventuri fitted fancy meeting up for a bit of sound byte action next to a Gruppe?? :D If you want a good drive by video of the Gruppe though have a look for 'Gruppe-M porn' on YouTube by AndySixspeed. That sold it for me... although I'm semi tempted to sell the Gruppe and try a Eventuri to be honest but I've not seen a good enough video sound wise to convince me to do it yet!

Would be interesting to compare them both with my aFe intake - it's not as pretty to look at, but it sounds awesome and was half the price.

Fitted the Eventuri yesterday!- took it out for a drive today and it does sound really good. It also feels like the sport button is on all the time but then when you use the sport button it feels even better! very good I'd say.

I'd also like to compare the GruppeM, the Eventuri, the aFe and my own Ramcharger II mod using ECU datalogging in real world driving conditions: i.e. a 3rd gear acceleration from 2000rpm to the redline.

My "ooh shiny" tendencies are in overload. Totally missed this thread having take a bit of a forum break. I can see me buying one of these bad boys. I wonder what the effect will be combined with my modified back boxes...

I was wondering that as I have modded boxes too

My Rogue Diablos almost completely drown the Gruppe-M out.

You can hear the intake growl over the exhaust at certain revs/throttle positions when flooring it, but the rest of the time the best you could say is that it 'balances' the noise.
