I was going to cut the guy some slack until the last photo

I'm afraid he's vastly exceeded the stick on badge allowance & no slack at all can be given :P
Rob

Absolutely none at all , , his car has just become a "how many badges can you spot " game :P
On closer look at the rear there are actually 3 ///M visible  :P

Wow, a 'SdriveSchnizerAlpina///M' Z4. Must be quite a rare car, probably the only one Mr Wilks hasn't owned. Could be your next purchase Andy?

09 71k 23i Silver + coral
You would probably trundle this away for £9k if not less  have yourself a very nice straight6 E89 with a great spec ( heated sports seats , cruise control , Pro nav , front + rear PDC , uprated hi-fi)

That almost causes me physical pain :( .
The prices here are holding somewhere between ridiculous and 'no-way'. As an example, here's one similar (2009 23i, with 59,000 miles) for the equivalent of £23,240 ($40,000NZD converted). You could probably ship an E89 here, sell it and still make a profit (if you could find a buyer - obviously the market is a lot smaller, hence the silly prices...)

That's amazing value for money

I've just purchased this one .....35i with DCT Dec 2009 with 47k miles, garaged from new and is immaculate in every way. Could not believe the condition when I saw it. Advert came on Autotrader at 9pm on the Thursday night, called the guy and was there the folllowing evening with a deposit, he had a number of people after it, but got it for £14,800. Would have liked it a bit cheaper, but the car was exceptional ..... happy with what I got.IMG_1075.PNGIMG_1074.PNGIMG_1071.PNG

Amen :D a fine example

That's a very nice example, Marlon - but why do they go and ruin it with cream/white trim/seats? I just know I'd be forever worrying about every tiny mark and scuff. Black hides so many sins

I have find this one today on Ebay. Bmw 30i manual with 24k on the clock. Decent color combination.

Well presented & looks well kept 35i with a fine spec & reasonable miles (51k)
Cheeky £13k bid could see you into a cracking twinturbo for 3.0i money

Currently looking for my E85 replacement, what do you guys reckon to this 30i? Seems good value @ £11k, I'm sorely tempted (similar colour scheme to my old one!) but is it worth the trip to the other end of the country?!

So far I can see it's 'only' got manual seats and no parking sensors.......
