each to their own but i prefer the blue and white roundals- a badge i strived to own for years! If you like them then you should put them on!

Just thought I'd comment since I started the post. After a few months with the black and white I get a significant number of positive comments. I think they freshen the car up enormously and on some colours suit it better than others (grey, silver, black, etc.) The blue on grey when I had red interior jarred and in the opinion of my designer daughter looked 'dated' in blue and white, while these look more subtle. Porshe and many others have choices of colour for badges so we don't have to stick rigidly to a convention. Ford IIRC correclty in the UK recently darkened their 'oval' badge blue as it was considered 'brash'.
The photographs posted appear to make the carbon shine and reflect whereas this is the camera. In real light you can just make out a weave no strong reflection.
I remain delighted with the look, quality and finish it adds, but each to their own, which is the beauty of customisation.

Anyway...
About to kit my car out with set of the carbon badges so was doing prior research on here to check sizes etc.
cj10jeeper, noticed you used silicon to stick your badges... I'm always a fan of the old Silicon and is my intention to use it for the side decals however, silicon sealant has petrolium in its composite so wouldn't advise using it against body work as can induce corrosive effects. Not going to happen anytime soon especially with paint layer so shouldn't worry but would suggest a preference of bonding tape for front and rear badges.

The front badges are fastened on with self threading nuts and the rear is a push fit on plastic studs, so shouldn't be a problem to most people. Sides are bonded onto plastic using the silicone and the wheels are clipped into the existing plastic cages.
I've just ordered a full set of carbon badges for my coupe. Looking forward to getting them fitted.
One question before they arrive is it possible/easy to remove all the existing badges without damaging them? I was thinking in case I need to put it back to standard when I sell it.

Cut the repeaters off with a knife or dental floss, the bonnet undoes with 2 nuts (remove a grille for access)
The boot is a tight press fit and wheels depending upon style are clipped into push in cages.
steering wheel is destroyed in removal

I actually had to cut off the 2 stubs on the back of the boot badge and then stuck it on with silicon sealer as i believe the Coupe rear badge is different to the roadster. They're still on almost a week later so not a bad job

or any other advice before I have a go?
I didn't take any pictures as i was doing it sorry. I will post some pictures of them on the car though when i have taken some, i'm painting my calipers when i've had something to eat so the camera will be coming out later.
Erm, it's pretty easy to do really, when you are doing the sides, let the silicon dry a bit before you put it on otherwise it will just slide downwards as i found out, then hold it in place for a short while after you've got it in place. When you have them all on, place masking tape all around the edges leaving no gaps and leave overnight.
