Yes very glad that I don't have to move and extremely glad that my sister, along with her hubby and two young children don't have to move either.

The one thing about all this is how little people actually knew about politics and the powers already devolved to Scotland and still they know little about it and believe the utter tripe that was fed to them under the Yes Campaign. Choices will need to be made and it's about time that the people of Scotland realised that their free eye test, prescriptions, university education for all who study in Scotland, their frozen council tax which should be being used for local services is funded from the money we get back via Westminster. They can't have it all and choices need to be made. Choices that the Scottish Government (SNP) have to make.
Not sure where all there Yes voters thought all this money would be coming from. Using Norway and their oil reserves was never a great comparison as they were already independent when oil was struck and put the infrastructure in place to reap the rewards of the oil revenue. It's now too late for that to happen here.

Damage has been done as the Barnett formula has been exposed to the public now, and a lot of people on the other side of the border would not have been aware that Scotland is so heavily subsidised by the rest of the UK.

I agree with pvr. The cat is out the bag now. I don't think there will ever be a Scottish PM or Chancellor (or more accurately one that represents a Scottish constituency) ever again and nor should there be either. 62% of English voters are also in favour of Scottish MP's being barred from voting on affairs that don't affect Scotland. That could be a constitutional crisis because a majority government could be defeated on a major piece of legislation by excluding Scottish MP's.

I totally agree. Why should scottish MPs representing their constituency be able to vote on things that will not effect them. We don't ask English MPs to vote on our reforms, just like the Welsh. I don't honestly believe these further powers will be devolved to Scotland as I can't see the rest of the UK MPs and their constituents voting for it.
I think this now has the potential to backfire on the Moany McMoanbags.
The rest of the UK know how much extra they get and may see this as unfair and pressure could force the government to make changes which actually benefit the majority for a change to the detriment of the buckfast gang.

Also what mandate did the three main parties have to offer extra devolution to Scotland? We have 50m people in England and maybe they'd like a say on devolving more power to Scotland and an answer to the West Lothian question.
