Hello All,
Thought I would say hello and introduce myself!
So after spending a fortune on a 4 cylinder that was an amazing engine just not powerful enough for me, I sold up and bought myself a 6 cylinder engined car
My 2 litre Z4 (Black) was a brilliant little motor, especially after finishing it. I wasn't looking at buying a Z4 I must admit, I was wanting a Lotus but went to view a Z4 as it was local and I offered a silly price and he accepted....... winner.
So after completely refurbishing all the brake discs/pads/callipers, fitted new bushes, refurbished the alloys, new tyres, new poly bushes, new anti roll bars, new starter motor, new rocker gasket, lowered, new shocks, angel eye install, DLR loom, carbon cleaned, M Sport bumper fitted, Powerflow quad exhaust fitted, K&N filter, Service undertaken......................and i am sure much more, I decided it was underpowered to be my weekend toy and sold up. The car was for sale for a whole 37 minutes before selling for asking price.

Needless to say I missed it, and when I moved companies and had to hand my beautiful company car back and ended up with no car I jumped at the opportunity of getting another zed.
As I enjoyed working on the z4, I decided id look for a cheapish 6 cylinder e85, and one became available which I picked up early Nov 17. It is a silver 2.5SI, that has a lot of maintenance to do to get it to the standard I like, also roof motor wasn't working, paintwork wasn't brilliant etc etc.
Now i have picked up my new company car, I can start to work on the Z4 ready for hopefully a good summertime. I have already purchased a huge array of parts to fit - Mtech drilled and grooved discs all round, green stuff pads all round, anti roll bar links all round, a large amount of polly bushes, braided brake lines, calliper refurb kits, service items, MV2 Gloss Black alloys, 4 Pirelli P Zero tyres, HID kit 6000k, 80mm halo lights with DLR loom, 20mm Spacers etc etc etc

I work in the machining industry so once the car is back up to my standard ill be modifying and updating some components on the car, and also as we supply Vibro technics might even try their engine and gearbox mounts out if I get a good enough deal
I have worked for companies such as Cosworth and Mahle, and visit both Silverstone and Oulton Park regularly so I am a huge petrol head socially and professionally!
I hope to get across to some meets also this year to check out other members rides!!
Cheers,
Phil
