AUC Z4Ms now dipping below £20k

I bought Z4MC 7 months ago on PCP. I called BMW yesterday to find out how much they will buy the car back off me. Find out tomorrow.

If its not what price I'm after, looks like it will be going on here and Pistonheads over the weekend!! :(

Gutted as I love it and really don't want it to go but need some back seats now and the wife hates getting in and out of it. :) I loved every minute of it though. What a car!!

Get a M5 E60. There were few AUC between £28-£30 weeks ago.

I think prices are better than they were this time last year. I paid £19675 for my Z4MC last January, drove it for 10 months and sold it back to a BMW dealer last month for £21000. BMW subsequently put it up for £24850! I'm sure I would have got £1000+ or so more privately, but wanted to do a quick deal on a specific car that was good value. Prices do seem to vary for coupes on PH though as there are similar cars from £21500 up to £25000.

The Coupes still seem to command a premium over the roadsters though considering they were cheaper in the first place. I wonder why

I cant see them dropping much in the next couple of years though and are probably still a good buy depreciation wise.

BMW have just offered me £20,500 so it might be worth selling it privately as I could get £21,500 at least. I know for a fact they just sold a 56 plate same spec as mine for just over £25,000

Dealers always add £4k above the trade-in value. The offer makes sense. M coupe hold their values well compared to M roadster.

Suppose its fair enough. They have to make a profit and give the car a years warranty. 4K maybe a little too much. Not sure if I can be bothered with the hassle of selling it privately to be honest.

Looks like it might go monday. :(

Why not try "webuyanycar" and see what they offer?

Are you serious? Wouldnt touch any of those sites with a barge pole. From what I have read of people's experiences they are best left alone.

Yes I wouldn't get involved with companies like that. Just filled in the details though just to see what they would offer. £18,160

The M roadster isn't much different to look at than the standard Z4 and so it doesn't stand out particularly unless you know your Zeds. The coupes are a much rarer sight on our roads so there's a nice exclusivity to owning one whether it's an 'M' or not.

IIRC I think there are actually less M.Rs than M.Cs in th UK.

So my cars going back to BMW saturday. Offered me £20,500. :(

I'd say that was pretty good mate, sad to see it go though!

I bought a 2006/56 Z4MC from Sytners last week for £21,400 which I though was a good price and cheaper than many I'd seen for sale privately.

Was that a £21,400 starting price? For a Z4MC that sounds like a great price!

I've noticed that too, private cars more than AUC. Also, quite a few places seem to be charging more for Si Sports than you can buy same age similar milage Ms, which just seems very odd!
