Will be in FL and then New York, so may try over there. Want to see it in the flesh before getting it though. Wonder is 5S will drop in price?
Just done the math.
PAYG
For the 64gb iPhone 6 - 619 from apple. Same tarrif PAYG as my contract is £20 or £480 over 2 years = £1099 for a 2 year period.
For the Contract
£38 a month, £199 for the phone = £1111 for 2 years.
For the sake of £2 and not having to pay £619 outright for the phone. More competitive than it used to be, but the PAYG tariffs are crap on 02.
Want to have a look at one before I buy, its not a huge upgrade over the 5S so might buy one of those instead save £200.

Quick question for those who have pre-ordered. Have you gone for the 4.7 or 5.5 screen and what memory? I'm thinking 64GB 4.7.
Would never go contract again, far too constraining and a pain if you want to upgrade your phone. Don't Apple do interest free on the iPhone? which would take the pain of forking out 700 quid in one go. HTC are doing 12 months interest free on the One M8 with 55 quid deposit, the phone is £649 so gone with that. I might have a look at iPhone 6 with the larger screen for comparison sake with the HTC but I think HTC are making the finest phones at present, only slight letdown is the camera colour rendition.

128 5.5 oh and Gold.
I held off changing anything with my 3 contract until the new launch. I'm in Spain and the 3 site has been kak the past week or so meaning I couldn't upgrade online. Great 
not :thumbsdown: anyways as I'm away and 3's holiday roaming thing doesn't cover Spain I wasn't going to wait all day (as it turned out) to see what 3 had to offer and just bought outright from Apple as soon as pre orders began.
I went for 128GB in Gold 4.7 as I still want it to fit in the space in the car for it. Whilst I was at it I also thought I'd treat myself to a new laptop, was going to get a MacBook Air but ended up buying a MacBook Pro Retina 13.3 too not sure what Mikes going to say to all this next week when it all arrives. He's back in the UK working hard to get the next Gen GTA done and I'm sunning and treating myself. I did get him some baccy tho so he doesn't feel left out
