He's back in the UK working hard to get the next Gen GTA done

 big respect!

I'm sure it'll all be worth it. I'll be glad to actually see him returning from work before midnight when it's all done. He is aware as am I of what this game means to a lot of people and it's a great satisfaction when it's done.

Just seen a 6+ at the sollihull apple store this morning (surprised there was no queue really)

Its bloody massive! No way could i ever have such a device... Wouldnt fit in any jeans pocket comfortably.

The 6 isnt actually that big in the hand... And as its curved feels smaller then it is.

Still prefer the 5 footprint though.

Well my new Apple goodies are out for delivery so just awaiting their arrival to see if the new phones all it's cracked up to be

I installed ios8 to my 5s... The thing i notice the most (aprt from the annoying predictive text) is how slow it is now!

But of course, they probably wanted to get the shipments in just incase there were border patrols from 8am and they forgot their passports :P

Oh what a tool! You could tell what was going to happen the way he was trying to get into the box. Honestly!

I've only que'd once for an iPhone and that was the iphone 4 and I was there for 5 hours. Not sure why these people want to que sooooo long now especially when you can order online. But I know it's the whole experience but surely once you've done it once you stop being so loopy!

I will write it off as "foreign aid" then :P

Yes, but I wish they had let it run a little bit longer as my macbook is at the depot with a delivery date of the 23rd and it was supposed to arrive yesterday :x seems normal UK timescales have been switched on.

Mine comes between 12:30 and 13:30 DPD...... Sat playing fifa trying to forget about it!

I also have a Rock Solid race tomoz, lets hope i don't break it there tomoz :fuelfire:

It's just arrived. Woohoo!

Initial thoughts is its big but not a big as a Samsung Galaxy. It feels quite nice to hold the curved edges defiantly make a difference. I'm just awaiting the phone restoring from the Cloud.

The iphone 6 also has extra apps added when it's started up but at least you can remove these. Noticed you can't remove Tips (what's the point of this now?), podcasts and health, neither can you merge them into a folder. Grrrrrr!

But the tips app gives you useful tips on how to make the most of your device every week. Most people by now are on their umpteen Apple device and probably know what works well for them. There will be an element of people who just use the same apps etc day in day out but they'll probably not be interested in tips either.

My 4s is sloooooowwww with IOS8 I wouldnt bother if you have one.

Obviously the best thing to do is to install a fresh on your phone, don't just overwrite it.

One thing you can do is reset safari if your phone is running slow, its generally the issue. Remembering everything takes a lot of CPU power even if the app is not active.

Its not the iPhone 6 that has the extra apps its IOS8 all phones come with it when you install it.
