Anyone know this Z4MR: PX06PYT / DSU992 ?

Re the running in service - doesn't the engine use a different grade of oil for the first 1000 miles to bed the engine in?
If that first service (the running in service) is not done then doesn't it mean a different grade of engine oil is in the engine for too long?
Or have I picked up the wrong message re that service?

This one is getting some hits, had a message on this car from a member and forwarded them on to this thread.

I will be that member then beedub just had a read through this thread and certainly slightly put off by it especially as it's just been at a different dealer, then no history maybe I'll give them a call see what they have to say tell them I'll give them 10k for it haha maybe then it's a better deal minus that history...

they are moving it around to try and get a hit, if you can get this at 12k id take the risk all day long personally but check with a fine comb brush....

Now been passed on to Arnold Clark (is that part of the same group?).

They have literally moved it 100 yards from the BMW garage to the used lot they have at the other end of the site.
Obviously not of used approved standard.Iwas talking to a close friend who actually saw the car minus the interior, wonder what that was about.
Large and barge pole are words that spring to mind.

the car had no interior at all???

Yes was told he saw it minus the interior. He was asking me about the car if I knew anything about it.
He was thinking about changing his 3.0 roadster.

now why would a 14k miles car need interior out work and brake pipes???

Water damaged but not insurance recorded possibly?? This car stinks tbh.... but if i got it for 12k i wouldn't care, id drive it into the floor!!

But they were gonna sell it to me with the interior ?!?

of course, they have stripped it for a reason, for some sort of repair somewhere, the car obviously comes with an interior...... The main reason i could see for stripping the seats out on a 14k mile car is to change or clean the carpet....

Wasn't there a guy on here who had some scrotes pour piss into his roadster while he was sat at lights ?

Could be something as non-sinister as that.

However log book missing, interior stripped and now being sold by Arnold Clark - Be careful !!
