after many years storing a performance vehicle of some kind you get some first hand tips, heres my tips........
store with fresh oils if you can
Keep the car clean and covered
Brim the tank to keep moisture from forming and diluting your fuel
Do not uneccesarily start the car unless you plan to drive the car to full warm temp (a good run out) the amount of condensation from short start and idle warmups is REALLY shocking, i really advise again "those ill go out n leave it running in the garage for 15 mins", this will do it no good at all, if you not going to drive it till warm leave it alone.
Try and give it a good hours run every now n then when the weather allows, to keep all the bits working correctly.
make sure the paintwork is free from dust and dirt.
Over inflate tyres by about 10psi to help against flat spots
make sure your handbrake is off and car is in gear
lock the car with the key and not the keyfob... you will find you charger will have charge spikes everynow and then which will set off your car alarm, not good when your at work and you car is pissing off the neighbours.
Use this time to predict future costs and maybe save up for those little bits you want.
years of storing all my performance motors and none of them have had a single proble come the decent weather time, stick with this and you wont go far wrong!!
