Z4MR With upgrades. low miles

wuaw the prices in the U.K are then a lot cheaper then here in Germany and Luxembourg.

If the Z4M would be 18900£ here in Luxembourg everyone would have one lol

So just checked the prices as they are here in Luxembourg and the options that he has on that car and i can gurantee that the car as it is right there would be FOR SURE 30 000£ here in Luxembourg. For sure!!!! The only Problem would be that the steering wheel is on the "wrong side" :) so u would have not one customer here in Luxemburg BUT!! if everything would be like it should; here in Luxembourg that would be the price for the car.

Dont forget the car is in excellent condition and has a very low miles. It is not overpriced imo. If u want good quality u need to pay the cash. if u buy a z4mr for 17-18£ i would pretty much 100% say that it doesnt come with all the options available and it has lot of miles on it.
I DONT LIKE! IDONT WANT! I DONT BUY!

Viva la vida

e.g. http://pistonheads.com/sales/2197965.htm a little higher milage, but at least you save yourself the cost of an Inspection I, which is around £800 IIRC (Going by average mileage Inspection I is carried out)?

Had my Z4Mr a week tomorrow.

Paid £18000

2007 plate 37k
All the options Inc satnav & dsp
Taxed/fsh/12month mot

I'd also like to know about the alloys. Should it say they cost £2300??

i still think op needs to hold out, here is an immaculate low milege car with some lovely upgrades and i think someone will want this car...

But the market is truly limited. Someone who wants a ZMR, wants the best, wants the extras, can see the value in them and is currently looking to buy one. To be honest, the type of person who wants it will be a member here most probably and while there is lots of praise for the car, no real interest in buying it. I really hope you're right though as it is a lovely car, but I feel the OP will be waiting a long time at that price, especially as winter draws on. Hopefully there is no need to sell quickly and he can wait, but as time passes depreciation takes a little slug more. I just think to realise the most money, it needs to go back to stock and the mods sold seperately.

The reason I have put the car up for the money was purely to see if I got any Intrest as seems a shame for the car to sit in the garage for so long.
I have decided not to sell the bits separately as I am not worried if I don't sell as it is my pride and joy.
I have since covered the car up and bought a CTEC trickle charger and son it so that will be it until march next year?
I know it was keenly priced but you don't know until you try.

Glad to have kept it.
Need to save for the supercharger now.. And try to convince the wife that it is for safety reasons only?........

It makes sense to keep it having invested time and money to get it as nice as it currently is, I'm sure wiser heads than me can tell you how to store it correctly otherwise you might have to ask the wife to run it out every couple of weeks to keep it tiptop... You might find she enjoys driving it, as I have now realised having handed my girlfriend the keys on a few occasions. Getting it back might be harder than you think ;)

Any particular reason to run it though? The battery is maintained, and unless you drive a decent distance and wash it again when you come back, what do you really achieve?

after many years storing a performance vehicle of some kind you get some first hand tips, heres my tips........

store with fresh oils if you can
Keep the car clean and covered
Brim the tank to keep moisture from forming and diluting your fuel
Do not uneccesarily start the car unless you plan to drive the car to full warm temp (a good run out) the amount of condensation from short start and idle warmups is REALLY shocking, i really advise again "those ill go out n leave it running in the garage for 15 mins", this will do it no good at all, if you not going to drive it till warm leave it alone.
Try and give it a good hours run every now n then when the weather allows, to keep all the bits working correctly.
make sure the paintwork is free from dust and dirt.
Over inflate tyres by about 10psi to help against flat spots
make sure your handbrake is off and car is in gear
lock the car with the key and not the keyfob... you will find you charger will have charge spikes everynow and then which will set off your car alarm, not good when your at work and you car is pissing off the neighbours.
Use this time to predict future costs and maybe save up for those little bits you want.

years of storing all my performance motors and none of them have had a single proble come the decent weather time, stick with this and you wont go far wrong!!
