Z4MC TPM or TPMS

I have a 2006 56 UK spec BMW Z4M. It was manufactured December 2006.

I want to upgrade my wheels from the OEM 2006 Z4M to CSLs and last minute a friend said 'does it have tyre pressure sensors?' and all of a sudden panic lol!

Read as much as I could find on the forum but have got confused. If I have this correct the UK spec is different to the US spec? Was it changed in 2007 from the ABS sensor to in wheel sensors!? Is there an easy way of finding out? I am right on the border although it is a 2006 car it was made in December. So just worrying about potential problems, can anyone shed some light? Not sure whether the M is in the same boat as the non-M cars with this change.

Thanks in advance

I don't know about differences between UK and US spec but you will have no problems fitting the CSL's regardless of the age of your M. The M's don't have in wheel sensors.

Rubber valve stems = TPWS (ABS sensors measure wheel rotation differential) - Metal valve stems = TPMS (Sensors in wheels measure each individual pressure)
