Sorry, I stand corrected - they've obviously gone up in value - .

Or not, maybe the dealer just saw my midlife crises all over my face and ripped me off

I'm back - did you miss me (I know Carol did, from all the PMs I received from her asking for a date - sorry Carol, I'm already taken ;) ) ?

I'm glad some actually "get it", whilst can only laugh at those that take it all too seriously - I bet they're the type that always write in to "Points of View" as well ;) .

For any that want a Cossie as a track car, you don't even need to spend £50, now-a-days half a packet of revels and a couple of quid buys you a good one (which I understand is twice the required amount to buy a Z4 :P ;)).

One prepared to the same standard as mine though requires stretching to a full packet of revels plus a Burberry baseball cap and at least £10 to sweeten the deal :P ;).

Mike, I'm sorry for bothering you with all those pm's. I just wanted to arrange a get together so I could pass along a picture of my other half so you could use it as your profile picture. You'd definitely get more if you did and that condescending attitude you sport would melt away. Hopefully.
Clearly your age is against you as the last person who referenced Points Of View was my old Nan. Us youngsters use Watchdog nowadays. You need to 'get with it'.

Joining this thread late in the day, this is hilarious.

I'm not going to add further fuel to the fire, each to his/her own. Carol, i'm even more in love with you than before

No need to get all coy, we all know that if you had just wanted to pass me pictures of your other half, then you could have emailed them :P ;). Unfortunately, I'm now thinking that because I spent that whole weekend in the Z4, that I might be more interested in you other half anyway  .

In the meantime, you do realise that Watchdog and Points of View are completely different programs? One deals with complaints about companies / products and the other deals with complaints about TV programs - I think this shows that I am totally with it, and you haven't got a Scooby (where I have a black AND a blue one) :P ;) .

Much love xxx

Well, you got me there. As I associate Points Of View as a favourite of the elderly and rarely watch it, I used it incorrectly in my comparison of complaint programmes on the telly. I stand corrected and concede you that point.

Feel free to contact my husband if you feel that driving a Z4 for a weekend has turned you gay. I suppose you think you are now qualified to do his hair as well? Good luck with that.

Might I suggest if you are going to try and appear to be down with the kids you don't use the word 'scooby', I think they stopped saying that some time ago. Using rhyming slang is best left to cockneys as they are the only ones who can use it with some credibility.
Now, of course you could actually be a cockney and if you are then do accept my apologies and feel free to carry on. I have a few spare pearl buttons you could have for your Sunday best if that's the case.
Failing that you could glue them to your spoiler and bling it up a bit in true chav form. You would need quite a few for it being as its so large but I'm sure we could have a whip round with our forum members. You can be sure any buttons donated would be of good quality as we only purchase the best. Like our cars. :)

I think my PC must be on the blink, all I can hear is an incessant whining. It's like a feckin blah, blah, blah,

Need a rolled up paper to swat it and put it out of it's misery. Perhaps the Mod's can help and put an end to our torment? It's not something i've encountered before, please let normal service resume and our usual levels of banter return.

Smileys not required here.

Don't think Marchantsuk was referring to my posts, I think he approves of them. Yours however are another matter. What's that word? Oh yes, drivel.

Been keeping score,
By my reckoning it currently stands at

Mike Rainbird -4
Carol M -3

Come on Carol step it up

For fear of upsetting the overly sensitive marchant (obviously living up to the Z4 stereotype :fuelfire: ), I'm happy to leave it at a draw (even though Maths is clearly not your strong point) ;).

That was Nosa who did the scores. Observation clearly isn't your strong point.

But......a draw it is. Nice sparring with you.
