When I told people at work I was getting a z4 there were plenty of hairdresser comments... came to an abrupt end the Monday I turned up in it.

To be honest, I can understand Mike's ire - I hadn't read this thread before yesterday, and the first 3 pages are quite harsh. Had I come across one talking about me like that I would have been more than a little pissed...

Having read the thread on their forum he comes across as very funny jokey type chap.
For what its worth I like cossies and maybe when my midlife crises is over with I may get one to track, I mean they cant be dear are they, what bout £50 for a good one :D :D

I'm back - did you miss me (I know Carol did, from all the PMs I received from her asking for a date - sorry Carol, I'm already taken ;) :rofl: ) ?

I'm glad some actually "get it", whilst can only laugh at those that take it all too seriously - I bet they're the type that always write in to "Points of View" as well ;) :thumbsup: .

For any that want a Cossie as a track car, you don't even need to spend £50, now-a-days half a packet of revels and a couple of quid buys you a good one (which I understand is twice the required amount to buy a Z4 :P ;)).

One prepared to the same standard as mine though requires stretching to a full packet of revels plus a Burberry baseball cap and at least £10 to sweeten the deal :P ;).

Er..Mine was a full packet of Revels with the orange ones removed and 2 mars bars. :x :x
 
Sorry, I stand corrected - they've obviously gone up in value - probably the demand from the hair-dressing fraternity following this thread ;) :P.
