i work for ford so my views are somewhat biased, but i love the old cossie's. yes they have a chav image but who cares?

i'm impressed that you actually have a significant other that allows you to own these man toys. :(

now i understand why the rest of europe find you uk guys a little weird ( but funny). you have quite a car park over there, but al those cars are just not the real deal, not even the M3.

cause who the :headbang: would buy a 4 door M3? yes a crazy englishman with no taste.

or would buy one of the ugliest scooby's ( only that bug eye/frog eye thing was more discusting) a real man would've bought an evo.

and last but not least a cossy escort, like what were you thinking ? i'm a wannabee rallydriver, witch insted goes to a circuit, zo why a escort you've should've bought a decent track car :P

:fuelfire:

( always nice to get a fire starting to become bigger and bigger :P )

Says the (wo)man with the 2.5i Z4 - I rest my case ;). It might have four doors, but at list the E90 is a proper M model, but with 4 doors it's understated and therefore doesn't get so much attention when pressing on ;).

What can I say about the Scoobies - we love the flat four burble - so have two of them (you can make out the blue of the UK300 in some of the photos) - one for best and one for the school run :). Evo's by comparison have the silly AYC that removes some driver skill and sound like a washing machine by comparison.

I've always owned a Cossie of some description since 1994, and they just get under your skin. It's fun going anywhere and expecting to be the under-dog by people that know eff-all about cars and then wiping the floor with them ;).

No, no, no not a Cosworth. I see someone in a Cosworth and think, boy racer wannabe. :(
'I have a big spoiler because I have a small penis' :poke:

As a women, I wouldn't expect you to understand the complexities of negative lift ;), but FYI the Escort Cosworth was one of the first production cars to actually have aero appendages that actually worked as they were supposed to and actually create downforce at speed (on both the front and rear axles). This was because it was a built and designed as a limited edition homologation special, designed to allow Ford to have a competitive rally car. Its there for a reason, not to make up for my small penis  .

As you can see, she mucks in with the cleaning and some of the cars are actually hers, so yes I am very lucky to have such a petrol-headed other half :).

haha, havin a good laugh to day. in the end we are all car lover's.

love the sound of the flat 4 from the scooby's but there not it for me although i allmost bought one ( 03-05 moddel wrx ),

but if i had that kinda of cash for car's and was living in the UK i'd buy an R34 GTR, ( and a Z4M ). but i don't

but those cossies i know a guy with a sierra cossie, his transmission broke, he had to pay around 2,5K to get it repaird. are the escorts parts also those price ?

Nice to see you're bringing your daughter up to be homophobic and a stereotype! :|

Firstly it's 'woman' not women and god help you when my friend sars see's that post. She is a woman and also an engineer, doesn't have a penis, large or small and would know a great deal about negative lift I would imagine.
Funnily enough I myself do actually grasp the benefits of large spoilers when racing a car. Who would have thought it me not being a bloke and all?
I was referring to the boyracer wannabe's who's Cosworth has never seen the colour of the tarmac of a racetrack but then I wouldn't expect you to have grasped that was what I meant, you being a man.

Oh, where are my manners? Welcome to our BMW Z4 forum. It's a nice friendly place with some great people.
Why were you here again?

What you mean like this ;):*

The standard transmission on the 4x4 Cossies is only good for sub 350bhp. You change it for something more durable if you don't want to be constantly replacing it. As you can hear in (and see in the picture ;)) the videos I posted up, mine is not standard anymore. It obviously costs quite a bit to do this though...

*I'd like to say this mine, but was borrowed off a friend for a week to allow me to get home from Hayward & Scotts, while they were fabricating an exhaust for the Cossie.

Well given that you knew from my posts that I regularly track the car, it seemed strange that you should mention it as if you didn't :P ;).

You clearly didn't read what I put. I said they reminded me of boy racer wannabe cars. I didn't say YOU in particular did I?
