yeah,a few ppl wanting to attend have mentioned bringing wifes/gf's,etc,and will probably be bringing my wife too
after all,this isnt a men only forum,lol

ps,gannet/i take it u are already going to be in kendal,seeing u booked for the mon and tues?(meet planned for fri/sat/sun)


look forward to seeing every1 soon. should be good,driving thru some good scenery in a convoy of z4's :D
 
have decided to make it the 1st wknd of july
ie 2nd/3rd/4th(fri to sun),so as to get ppl to commit to a date and we can get this meet sorted,cheers :thumbsup:
thho it can be late fri or early sat am if that suits ppl better
 
Late Friday would be best, gives a better run out on Saturday without the waiting around for people.
 
Friday night would be my suggestion with an option of those who cannot attend then arriving Saturday knowing it will be a prompt start at xxhr. That give flexibility to all.

Doubt Mrs CJ will turn up if I mention tents :)
 
I think camping would be a lot of fun especially since I've never been (my dad never took me when I was younger :( )!

X2 about Friday.

We can tell scary Z4 accident stories around the camp fire and play drinking games such as I Have Never, so we can get to know each other better!! :P
 
First weekend in July sounds possible for me, although instead of the Z4 I'd likely be in THIS - we're planning an 2-week hol camping around the UK and I think it could be around then, not sure on locations yet but intending bringing MTBs for a bit of an action holiday. Utter luxury compared to a tent, but not as much fun driving :roll:

hey a11y,a little info for ya.if your coming round the north yorks area with your bikes go into dalby forest as its a massive mtb center now and it has the world xc champs comin soon.its my local riding haunt :thumbsup: .

Ha, cheers! I actually stayed in Dalby Forest last year for the Singlespeed UK MTB champs: http://www.flickr.com/photos/a11y_m/sets/72157621920302524/. We did a good bit of riding around the forest all weekend, got down to the visitor centre and bike shop, etc. Trails were very nice and the skills area with the jumps and 4X track was a good laugh, especially after a few beers...

LOL, but nobody's sharing the van bed with me - that's for certain :D
 
So we all seem to be happy with kendal (or thereabouts)?
I am going to pm everyone soon(workn,etc all wknd tho,so may take a few days or so),so we can get definite commitments from who will be going,and if we want to block book hotels/b&b's or campsite(s),or just book our own and meet up at a designated place and time??

Looking forward to catching up with every1,and going for a good drive :D :driving:

First weekend in July will be fine. And i'm happy to camp if that's what we are planning. I'll be doing so at Download festival for 3 days at the beginning of June too :D I'll have to remember my veggie burgers and vodka!

I hate commiting to anything, this sounds like it could be great though
