Z4 3.0 Coupe market watch

Alpine White not too badly priced given the mileage: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202102259457971?atmobcid=soc3

Sorry but that seems ambitiously priced IMHO, but if anyone really wants a white Coupe it looks like it will cost!

My 1st Coupe cost me £9,600 in 2014 with 54K miles in Ruby Black with Pearl Grey leather and full BMW SH.

I didn't pay much more for my MC in December 2019!

Time to move into 2021 Mr Tidy. The new normal will soon, if not already, push this delightful coupe into the stratosphere :)

I only said it due to the rarity, probably knock a grand off during negotiations. How many white coupe's have you seen in the last year with that kind of mileage and condition.

That Mr Tidy, time to move on and start living in the new normal

Yes, I suppose so!

But I can't help thinking prices may go back to pre-Covid levels if we ever get back to normal normal - time will tell!

The car disappeared from sale early yesterday, so it sold quickly or it will reappear at a higher price. I actually thought it was one of the more sensibly priced examples, good miles and spec, and my favourite AW colour.

This just came up for sale near me, silver E86 Si Sport, can see it has cruise control, rear parking sensors, 105k miles. £7k from a dealer, price doesn't seem horrendous but there is no description yet so not much info available.

Seems very reasonable for a dealer car.

No, just no

How much roughly would a high mileage si sport coupe be worth? 140k Miles in good condition
At this mileage, condition and service history are more important than spec. It’s still hard to find one advertised under say £6,500 although one or two on eBay go for less than this. I’d say £6-7,000, may a tad more for a really well looked after car.

Just run in. You are buying on condition here, forget the rest, service history owners etc, just semantics so meaningless the the general scheme of things. The N52 is virtually bullet proof, the transmission if 6M/T a delight.
If you like the car sit down and have the meaningful convo with the seller.

Great to see some style 203s making an appearance. Clearly making a significant contribution to the $30,000 sale price!

Is this the closest to a new E86 that you can buy? It think it’s been for sale for a little while but sets the top end for what an E86 will fetch.

Or perhaps what a dealer hopes it might fetch!

Still it's probably a good buy for anyone desperate for a low mileage E86, but having owned a couple I'd save some money and buy one with more miles as they can take it.

Follow the leader: prices for these cars are going only one way, unloved and neglected in the market for so long :(

Value for money here. Get in quick before the market realises how much bang for the buck you get with these wonderful coupes :driving:
