ok so i had alittle more seat time with the car today and decided to run some broken back roads..... this is with the race dampers, linear race springs and solid mounts offered by the clubsports (dont confuse clubsport with v3, they're completely different and share no components), the v3 is a high end road shock, the clubsport pushes you into a race damper thats pretty uncompromising....
if i run the kw nurburgring recommended settings the car feels fantastic, alive and frentic like im hardwired into the car, it can soak up the small/medium sized bumps with ease and although very firm, offers much better control, body roll on road tyres is non existant, and i can see to get the best from these setup im going to need to get the cups back on, im putting the power down but still lighting up the traction control deep into 3rd......
DSC off shows an edgy vehicle on the road, the stock setups understeer into for me at least a progressive oversteer is gone, understeer resistance is very high so warning of the rear going is short and sharp, with the traction control off, the car smoke the tyres at will from 2nd/3rd gear exiting corners so again you need to be very careful.
back home, set the dampers to road setup and stark contrast appears, much more compliance but again still stiff, the car does no crash or bang at all, my high riding car soaking up all the bumps and the solid top mounts feeding in all the roads data, with the softer settings power is transmitted to the ground easier and can be used during smaller compressions.....
braking CONFIDENCE has improve massively from the stock setup where those giant brakes felt like the car was literally doing a stoppy, the rear wheels would loose purchase on the road and begin to lock on and off, thats gone, square braking and nice tyre marks on a 70mph stop,
All in all, very very pleased with the car, its feeling pretty special now, could i live with the clubsport 3 ways on a day to day basis???? sorry but no, its to much, and its highest settings its stil imo pretty low, its firm and constantly changing the settings is annoying. I can see however, with road legal slicks on this thing wil be an absolute animal so ill get the cups back on and sell the ps2s and swap between Pss and psc now i have my new 18s in the garage.
for my use of the car these are perfect, sadly ive had no track time this year but will be doing my first all day session on the 6th september weather dependant and will really dialling in the settings, camber is currently set @ -2.6, ride height is 10-12mm lower than stock with plenty of travel. Im 100% satisfied with the choice.
items to note;
The remote canisters would on a normal caliper setup car get in the way of doing a pad change as the bolts would be hindered, on my BBK equip car this is a no issue as the pads drop in from the top.
The solid uniball billet topmounts/camber plates introduce further NVH but really transmit lots of GOOD detail as well.
These setup NEEDS the reinforcement plates to protect and spread the load across the turret (cheap insurance imo)
The RE reinforced rear mounts are pretty awesome imo.... silent, remove the damper from under the car now also and completely rebuildable, i went with poly bushing withing the billet plates, again this added further NVH.
The car feels quite low imo at its higher settings.
The linear race springs are HARD.
The quality of the kit is literally second to none, its a shame its hidden under the car, its porn!!
Not imo DD material but if you hardy enough could easily be done.
Fitment was perfect and i mean perfect, every single piece fitted like the stock units.
Pay careful attention to the instructions noting specific sided items, some buts like the top mounts Arn't sided and need specific orientation.
Lots of scope for adjustment
Further weight reductions made with the kw clubsport, each damper and spring is lighter than stock.
The dampers and completely rebuildable....
haggle on the price and play venders off between each other.. i netted a nice discount doing so and spent the change on some new clothes for my son

if you have a strut brace you need to special order longer studs which then need to be pressed into the top mounts.
Large step back in ride comfort
large step forward in dynamics with right settings in place.
This setup is completely silent in its operation, no rattles, bangs, creaks, nothing.
if anyone wants a suspension refresh i have a 11k mile stock suspension in perfect condition, great for the higher mile cars that want a refresh.
I will give the car 3 weeks and go for a proper alignment setup, level the car out again if its settled unevenly and will royally kick this things ass round my local venue. Sorry to repost some of these pics but thought id put in my initial review, excuse typos as im trying to do this rather quickly.
reinforce plates and rear top mounts
ride height set conservative
some porn... (pre clubsport)
