No recall outstanding for my 2006 Coupe.
firebobby, I had recalls for passenger then driver's airbag on my E46 when it was 15 years old so BMW seem to be as good as any.
Sorry to have read about your steering problem, but presumably you just lose the power assistance so you can still steer it - sort of like your GT6 that has no PAS!

Cheers, while on the move it's not to bad, but low speed moves are bloody stupid. I know we are pampered these days, but I don't remember steering in the old days being this heavy. The electric motor must have some meshing on the steering, which adds a drag to it.
