Me too - just used them to help with 8 changes (2 sets of winters removed and all seasons back on) and I'd recommend as they helped line up the holes. Only used 1 and not sure why they come in pairs really :dunno:

Why don`t you ask machine monkey if he can rattle some out !
Very easy if you have the gear.

Holy thread resurrection Batman

That and the fact MM wasn't around when this thread was alive :poke:

Having just come in from fitting my winter wheels, they are a must have. Luckily my son was at home to help out.
Ordered via the link, thanks for the heads up.

If your buying 2 your wasting your money , buy one and chuck £12 in a charity box , it'll do more good

I found that just using one left the wheel to swing about and the hub turned and it still remained a hassle - so I've ordered a second pin to hold the wheel perfectly in place.

:driving:

Happy to make these up for people if your interested. I will check in my workshop and if I have the die then no problem to make them at all. My lathe can only screw cut imperial threads so will need to cut the threads with a die. I have the m12 x1.5 taps I am sure the taps came with a field.

So m12x1.5 how long do they need to be?
