There are some fairly unusual (log in) names on the the forum, and I was wondering what made people choose what they did? Some are obviously the members actual names but some are 'your guess is as good as mine'

Are they old school nick names, links to hobbies or simply words you like? Go on tell us whats behind the name........

I'll start imp75 is my initials and year of birth.

I cant join in this one! On other boards though I'm K11STP after my plate or monster munch because apparently my toes look like the crisps.

ZermattV = Zermatt Vulgaris

Named this on Land Rover sites as my Discovery 3 was Zermatt Silver which is about as common a colour as they come in.

Trut is an old school nickname that I've long given up trying to shake off

01 is added because I mispelled my email address at first attempt to join the forum and was unable to confirm my registration

I hope you know what this means in Dutch ...

Well, bit of a long story but my name is Colin and I used to live in Holland where going through traffic lights on Amber was generally accepted. My friends and family reckoned I always went through on Amber so it became known as doing a Half Colin. A Full Colin was going through on red. Even now our kids still remark when someone does a Half Colin.

My first Z4 was Maldivas Blue and I thought that was COOL, so I got plates that said "COOL Z4" :D

My nick name at school (name is Nicholas!) and it came true as I am now a Dr!

Don't watch the simpsons though so maybe I should change my Avatar!

STAFFSZ4MC, as I live in Staffordshire and drive a Z4MC, I like to keep things simple :D
As DrNick has mentioned his avatar, for your information I'm not an elephant, I wouldn't fit in the car
My name is Nicholas too, big up all the Nicks

No that's my friend Terry Tibbs - wideboy/wheeler dealer who drives Masarati.

Roofless - pretty obvious for a cabriolet driver but ever since my first mg's i've struggled to drive anywhere with a roof up and said quickly the name corresponds with what i've often been accused of being at work. :)
Interesting thread by the way

Can we have a nsfw heading to this thread - I've just stumbled upon a picture of Taz's arse!

Guiseley's the town I live in - nice and easy.
