Lanoguard the underneath
Peter be interested to see how you get on with the Lanoguard, just had the car serviced and now I've SORN'd it. Got to replace the headlight adjuster thing and then back into the garage until spring. Still in negotiations regarding its sale... :idunno:

Wilco…

All being well, I plan on an Oil & filter change service, replace brake pads and paint calipers, discs are fine ACF50 underside.
Any other jobs that 'pop up'.

Starter motor, replace fogs, de-rust underneath, paint callipers, fit the subs, oil change and if brave, do an MOT.

Everything bought to do the jobs (except starter as is out of stock everywhere)

ACF50?

May I ask why that amongst many others?

The adjustable camber plates are making a clicking noise. They’ll be replaced with fixed -2.5° angle. And scheduled oil change, etc. All in early December.

That's a lot of camber for the front...

What are you using for the de-rust /protection?

Because I use it on my bike and bought 5 litres, always brings it up nice

The tyres are wearing very evenly and you can hardly notice.

Besides, I may look like a grandpa, but don’t drive like a Scot.

Just changed the bulbs for white LED. Looks a lot better but the outer ring is not pure white (same as the inner ring). Not as bad as the pic shows though.

Cheap 5 min job. I also have the white LED internal bulbs that I need to change.

Looks much better..the original halogens are so dim..out on a run with several cars you can hardly see them in the mirror at distance on a less than dull day..

I agree B21, even thought he outer ring is not pure white, it is an improvment to teh halogens. Just need to try them in the dark now. Don't need to wait too long in the British winter, 4pm should do it. :?

I have started looking to see if i can do a similar thing to my Triumph as well 8)

They will be too bright / annoying after dusk to other road users as they glare a lot..but you’ve got your headlights then
