What mods have you got planned for the new year?

Hi all-HAPPY NEW YEAR,just wondering what modding plans if any you have for this year?-mine will have to be a different set of wheels,(and a tax disc holder) :roll: (to start with)

Last night I got permission from SWMBO to go to Le Mans with a mate, and she's even considering spending her 39th birthday in a tent in the Lakes at the national forum meet... So I'm not even thinking about mods right now in case I say something out loud by mistake and spoil all the Z driving fun I have lined up :wink:

Started the new year by putting on our new plates

(after waiting for the updated parking permit to arrive :-x )

nothing major, just refit all the parts from my old Z4, and a good detailing/paint correction when it gets a bit warmer.

Only real new mod when I get the connectors is the illuminated ZHP, at present my car is knobless.

Erm, would love Eibachs, M Bumper, de tango front lights.

Not sure if any will be done by end of the year though :lol:

Once the weather gets better -

- Soundproof doors
- Carbon fibre wrap the spoiler on hardtop
- Degrease/clean sticky windscreen wipers
- Fit rear spoiler (painted and ready, but still debating wether it will look to cluttered)

Have a wheel reburb and re colour - poss green (meaning newly painted calipers will be repainted black) .
Paint and fit a spare dash and trans tunnel the same colour as the alloys.
Buy euro passenger rear light, tint both rear indicators red for twin white spot look.

No doubt many other things will spark my interest as I continue the multiple daily visits to the forum.

Mmmmm - aero skirts... These have been calling to me recently. Subtle mod, but totally worth it for the additional lines on the car. And mine have been scratched by a previous owner. Very tempted.

I should add - the only "must have" for me this year is a wheel refurb.

They look OK from a distance, but I get upset when I see them up close as the paint is chipped and some corrosion is setting in

Wheel refurb is top of my list in the spring. I'd like to get clear headlights and de-tango the rears and side indicators. That's pretty much every thing I want to do to mine so not a big mods list.

Getting worried now, was thinking I should sell this year due to the 15k miles p/a I do to go to work and back but think my parents have talked me out of it (they know how much I love my Z). So if I'm keeping it, quad exhaust conversion, aero skirts, this diffuser http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3526945 and possibly the aero spoiler! - not exactly saving money! :driving:
