Long time lurker - Time to do some mods...

As per the title really..

Have searched the forum, and read as much as I can regarding the following upgrades;

Angel eyes from white to yellow (done!)
Runflats ditched for Uniroyal RS5's (done)
Retrofit "combox" as my car has the "std" bluetooth (with nav) and only "aux in" so want bluetooth streaming (ToDo)
Retrofit folding mirrors (I have a set from a 35iS and love the shell colour (ToDo)

I appreciate there are lots of threads, but hoping someone who had done above will jump in to save me reading hundreds of posts

I can't offer any help, but you should be able to find the answers in the "How To" threads on the E89 section.

B21 and Anubis Zed have done all sorts of mods to theirs.

how are you finding MHD/XHP, as they are both on my list too?

That is normally the other way around TBH.

Is the next mod to change the six speed gearbox to a four speed? :lol:

xHP was a massive improvement to the DCT downshifts. (Another trick is to downshift with the throttle open.) I have a bespoke xHP map.

MHD also gave a boost in performance. I have stage 1, which is plenty for my age and dulled skills.

My recommendation is to not switch to Sport+ too often. The N54 is very finicky.

Combox - Firstly depends on the year of production. 2011 + yes definitely, earlier may need some special coding.
I currently have a video in production on this very subject.

Powerfold Mirrors - Firstly, and most importantly, do you currently have 3 pin or 5 pin mirrors? If 3 pin then it's almost plug-n-play, but if 5 pin then you'll need some extra wiring. You need both Mirrors and the drivers door switch unit with the extra button.

Ive got the wiring diagrams and coding requirements for both mods if you need them.

Ha, yes I meant that way, although there seems to be a trend otherwise in some areas, and it's a 7 speed lol.
