Most likely the first car you owned, as it was mine.

1983 (Y reg) Ford fiesta 1.1 Popular Plus in Champagne Gold.

1.117 over head valve engine, single carburettor, manual choke. Run on 4 star petrol. Received the occasional crypton tune to maintain smooth running.
4 speed manual gearbox
All round standard drum brakes
Standard steering non powered
Manually operated door locks
Manually operated door windows
No head rests
No nearside wing mirror, manually operated o/s door mirror.
Standard AM radio

First car like you, but a Fiat 127

Yes, interestingly just read up the powertrain package for the fiesta was tested in fiat 127 development "mules" considered at the time to be the benchmark car in its class, along with sharing styling similarities.

definitely the most old school and low tech car I have owned... (I still own it).

The headlights don't even pop up, they roll over and have a large lever in the cabin to operate them, and a transverse leaf spring for suspenion across the rear of the car... low tech enough?

My second car wasn't any Higher in spec, except it was rear wheel drive and gained another 1000cc.

Mk1 Vauxhall Cavalier 1.9gl 1977.

My first car was 1976 BMW 1502 with 1.8 liter engine from 5 series.
It had small steering wheel and "wide" 185 tires. You had to use both hands turning steering wheel when car was not moving :D

19?? Morris 850 Traveller - you know the one with the 'wood'

Bought for £50, sold 6 months later for £50 - bargain

1994 Nissan Micra 1.0L (my first car)
Straight 4, 998cc engine DOHC 16v
55bhp
58 lb/ft Torque
5 speed manual
No power steering
No electric Windows
No AC obviously
Steel Wheels
I believe it did have central locking and a clock
