Wow your 108s are in great condition & clean!

How long did the calipers take to do? Mine don't need it yet, but will do at some point. Nothing better than a hub & caliper combo looking in perfect condition.

Glad you said that after what the refurb cost and I am still not 100% happy but I am very fussy the calipers were painted in situ around 10 mins each one used Hammerite smooth Silver

They look really good! Next on my to-do list. Did you also use Hammerite on the middle of the discs?

They were sprayed using this paint http://www.simonizspraypaint.co.uk/simoniz-very-high-temperature-paint-silver/simoniz-vht-silver-500ml.html

today i went out in the roadster, then i went out in the coupe :)

Brilliant! Very few that can post that...I could do the double roadster as my wife has one, but not as cool as one of each which we had when I had the coupe.

Nothing Zed related -it hasn't moved all weekend but me, the Boy and the wife went up to North Wales and did the Velocity Zip Wire over the Quarry.

Fantastic... 1500m in 1 minute, reaching speeds of about 90mph. Amazing how even turning your head throws the whole dynamics out of kilter. It's like being a missile. Once you've got everything lined up and you're flying straight, you know even the smallest change of position messes everything up and starts you spinning !

You get 2 rides, one about 500-600 yards long, then a ride up to the top of the mountains to fly back down the zip wire over the slate quarry into the landing pad. I think its £60 now but well worth the experience. (Book well in advance though)

As seen through the eyes of a 13 year old minutes before launch...

What a fantastic experience!

I'd love to do that.

I did similar on a much smaller scale at the Eden Project a couple of years ago along with my then 12 year old daughter - my wife said that just looking at it was scary enough for her.

Its the only one I know where you aren't sat under it. You are slung horizontal and fly head first like superman, so you can fly like a bird with your arms out if you wish, or tucked back behind you like a torpedo !

Took my zed into the dealers for an MOT, happy to report that it passed with no advisories. :D

Good news!

On Sunday I took mine the 1.5hrs to Goodwood from New Malden through some brilliant roads with lots of other soft tops, en route to the Breakfast Meeting! Left at 6am so the roads were empty, properly good run out and slightly burnt  Realised how right my decision was to get a soft top!!

This weekend it's going in to have its wheels refurned, spacers added and then I'll be fitting new brakes/having the brake fluid done. Getting close to being ready for Silverstone Classics!

I've just dropped my car off at Premier Wheel Repairs in Redhill. It's going to be a long week without the car! I've gone for Mercury Silver as that looked better in my eyes than the plain silver.

Fitted Gaptech module, took my time and didn't use the scotch blocks after reading various threads on here
Great bit of kit
Just one issue - windows don't go back up when using the key - ok on 'one touch' so I'm assuming my wiring connections are all ok
I've tried a windows re-set - any ideas anyone

Nursed a hangover from a day at Ascot now having a much needed hair of the dog then tuck into my take away

Hmmmmmm some call this " rock 'n' roll"

Talk your daughter into getting a larger car.... sorted :D

Today I ended the life of a wood pigeon. Couldn't avoid due to traffic in the opposing lane, bloody horrible pop as I ran over it. I don't think I've ever killed anything more than flies with my car before, didn't like it :(

Fortunately no damage - the damage that is there was done before

I was half expecting to find a head or something wedged in the air duct, fortunately that wasn't the case. RIP Woody - at least you went out in style...
