Monmouth and back with the top down. I just love putting her into manual and roaring up around the tight bends on the hill out of town. :driving:

No pictures but spent about 4 hours cleaning the motor for my drive down to Goodwood tomorrow.

Jet wash, two buckets, tar remover, rinse, polish, 2 wax coats, back to black trim renovation, Windows. I'm now shattered so enjoying a few beers while watching the F1 qualifying.

Wash clay polish seal and wax the Z all by hand now having a well earned beer before I start again tomorrow wheels off for a caliper/disc centre repaint.

That is looking amazing, great reflection for the ti

Did my wheels and tyres along with the wife's Z today.

Will be taking a DA to mine tomorrow, so you have set me a challenge :poke:

I am going to try my hand with a nano sealant on it and then see how the long term protection holds.

Sorry know this is a what I've done, not am going to do post

I Went to the local tesco , scored a reduced cuttle fish and some tuna steak , went home and cooked the tuna rare , served it with chilli salsa , then did the cuttlefish with olive oil chilli and garlic and pasta .
Had a bottle of fizz beforehand then washed it all down with a couple of glasses of dry white after
I considered washing and polishing the cars  but wtf , life's for living

Drove from Spean to Kinlochleven "the ring" had oysters, razors and a large toffe pudding with a slower loch side drive back! Wine and cheese to finish at home. A grand day!

I should have been driving it, but with the wife out it was my first chance to get it properly clean.

Fallout remover, wash, clay, and then my first ever use of the DA I purchased several months ago, followed by race glaze nano sealant. I am shattered, having started at 8am and sony just finished washing the pads.

Very impressed with the Megs Microfibre Pads & compound, followed off with a sponge finishing pad & Mez4500 compound. Only slight heart attack was on the finishing pad, I turned it over to spritz it & saw it was covered in silver/grey. After the initial panic I'd fecked up, I noticed it was the compound colour, but it didn't register as I squeezed it out

A lot if hard work & just when I was getting tired I had to do the nano sealant. Thought I was then finished, but nope had to clean the bloody pads :headbang:

Beer in hand now & looking out at my efforts

Gratuitous reflection shots in ti silver, didn't think I was going to get much from it. Looking forward to doing my wife's soon, as her darker Z should really give great reflections. Sorry they are not arty & with an iphone rather than a proper camera, but it needs charging.

Met up with Stu,Mikey and Deb for a drive down to Rye,had a lovely breakfast outside then a blast through the countryside, before returning to Mikey and Debs for a cuppa before heading home....brilliant!

Bought a pack of two burgers and mashed them together to make one big one and did my first mod - black grilles courtesy of the good lady!

Enjoy your well earned beer looks great did try a de swirl by hand on my Z once but found the only way I could spot swirls was in the sun it just left me with a thumping head ache from the glare.

 Cheers

I found after heading into the garage to grab a water, I had to wait quite a while to adjust after staring at the sun in the paint.

I've done it by hand in the past, takes a long time & a lot if effort. That's said it felt far more safe than the DA at first. Hadn't even turned it on until today & it basically like a lower speed, wobbly power drill that I am then meant to put near my paintwork! Normally enjoy a beer or two when polishing my cars by hand, wasn't brave enough with the DA.

My neck is burnt, hadn't even considered the sun on the back of it for the best part of the day :headbang:

Painted Calipers/Hub was doing both sides but my knee and back decided otherwise :-x I have the week off work so finish tomorrow

:D My neck was stinging a bit yesterday remember waxing my car with a few beers on a summers evening feeling very relaxed at the end :D

Wow your 108s are in great condition & clean!

How long did the calipers take to do? Mine don't need it yet, but will do at some point. Nothing better than a hub & caliper combo looking in perfect condition.
